Eddie House

House must go.

He is such a selfish player. I can barely remember him finding teamates at first pace. He's always a 'shoot-first' guy, but without ANY shooting touch. What the hell is he doing in our team??? I really don't understand.

Like tonight when we are riding on a momentum (leading by 1 pt something) in the 2nd quarter he quickly shoot the ball in a procession and miss it. Then the game back to 5 or 7 points Spurs lead again. He kills our momentum. He only looks for his own shot on the court. We don't need this kind of player. Even Bobcats cuts him. I don't understand why he's still a king!

Maybe it's Bibby trying to keep him??

House was NOT a bad pick up. At the time the Kings were desperate for a ball handler. I can't think of anyone else better who was avalialbe at the time and at that time neiter Martin or Evans had displayed great skill as ball handlers.

That being said Kevin shows more promis on ball than House has shown skill since House came to Sac. Evans is no great handler but is ok. More importantly Mobley IS a good ball handler so House is redundant at best. He won't be missed.

I want to put ball handling aside. Just the fact House is a selfish player (to me), he has absolutely no place in this team. Every bench player tends to look for teammates when PT comes. But I can tell you House will shoot it evertime when he's bringing the ball up. I am not even talkin about garbage time.

All in all his selfishness annoy me most. Just my 2 cents.

House was picked up on purpose to replace Bobby. Another 2-guard in a PG body. But it shows how special a Bobby Jackson is -- most tweener guards like that are marginal players, as is House. BTW, he has shot terribly since showing up -- not sure what is up with that becausde this is a guy who has scored explosively in previous stops. Not a true PG though. Just a small qucik player who theoretically can bring the ball upcourt aginst pressure.

At least Bobby would drive to the basket. I swear I didn't see ONCE House driving to the basket in a Kings uniform. All he can do is shooting jumpshot.

I recall on a different thread, I was, for lack of a better word, "chastised," for saying many of the same things about Eddie House. I reiterate, IMO Eddie House is not an NBA caliber player.

The kid averaged 11 points earlier this year, so he definatly has some scoring punch locked within him.

Although, I will agree, he has looked terrible as a King so far.

Part of the reason for the "chastizement" might have been that we Kings fans have all too often seen someone who doesn't do very well on other teams flourish in our system. For that reason, I suspect some of us were willing to give House a chance.

Well, as far as I'm concerned, he's had his chance and I am not impressed.

;)

I feel bad that everyone is hating on him

Im sucha girl when it comes to stuff like this

poor Eddie...all he wants to do is make it in the NBA...hehehe

It is very difficult for a rhythm shooter like Eddie House to get it going when he plays 0 minutes one night, and 10 the next.

i actually thought eddie would be good for the team but lookin at his play as a king sooo far he hasnt been really effective for the team... but he can play better as i saw with the cats earlier this year... but then again he is a shoot-first guard... although bobby shoot-first guard he was actually kinda good at shooting.... house shooting right now sucks but when he was with the cats he made some preetty decent shots and assists with them... i dunno whats wrong with him now... hope his play from earlier this season comes back to him... his playing time is kinda inconsistent so that might be troubling him....
