Dwyane Wade!!!

^:D thanks. the guy is amazing. i really cant praise him enough. tonight was his second 40+ pt performance in these finals. he has come through for his club when they needed him and performed like a superstar. he sure out did mav's "superstar" dirk who could not step up. wade is doing everything to bring the ring to miami. he is incredibly special and deserves this title should they win it. GO HEAT!

No he didn't. THE REFS played a great game. Wade shot a crappy fg% but he shot as many free throws AS THE ENTIRE MAVERICKS TEAM. 25-49 enough said.

winners find ways to win games. imo, his determination won the game. i disagree in regards to the refs. that ONE call was questionable at best. didnt dirk recently set some record for most freethrows in the postseason? had he been more aggressive tonight i am sure he would have gotten some more calls. wade shot poorly but came through with some clutch plays to help his team win, you cant ask for more. obviously not everyone agrees with me but I think he was amazing.

whos fault was it when they had harris fouling shaq with 9 mins to go in the fourth and no team fouls? they knew what they were doing, the mavs were lucky that the heat couldnt hit their freethrows...

Wade SHOT TWENTY FIVE FREE THROWS. TWENTY FIVE. Out of FIELD GOALS he shot 11-28. If this was Kobe he would be getting ripped a new one. The REFS handed the Heat the game.

The refs certainly did give him a ton of free throws he did not deserve.
If you sit and take a bunch of jumpshots like Dirk, you won't get calls. If you slash to the basket and are aggressive on offense, you will. Dallas is a jumpshooting team and they're not going to get as many calls as Miami will.

I'm not denying that the last call was one that shouldn't have been made, but the Mavericks choked it away in the end :) It was a call that wouldn't have mattered if they took care of business but they didn't.

Also, there were also horrible calls that went in Dallas' favor, but let's just forget about those because they lost!

the refs certainly did not make those two clutch free throws for him

Right. And surely the refs didn't shoot the gametying jumper that sent the game into overtime. The officiating might've been lousy, to say the least in this game, but that doesn't take away the fact that Wade played great this game, and was pretty amazing in those clutch situations. His field goal % was not that high, but surely that didn't stop him from willing his team to win. He has shown great heart throughout this series and no lousy officiating could/should take that away from him.

That's just silly.

Dwayne Wade was eating the Mavs "defense" alive. They couldn't stop him and they just kept fouling him.

Aggressive players who drive the lane are going to get calls. The officials did NOT hand the Heat this game. The Mavericks did. Wade consistently went inside; the Mavericks had NO answer for him.

Wade killed it tonight. Simple as that!

Maybe there were a certain number of calls he got because of his establishment. But, ultimately the guy is a stud and once again led the team to win.

Mavs should of made their FTs (Howard, Dampier, Dirk's missed one), LATE. They also didn't double on Wade once or twice, like the one driving hanging bank jumper.

No questions from me, awesome clutch performance.:D I'm just waiting for the "LBJ" could have done that, LBJ is still better comments

while true, it doesn't make it any less annoying. refs should be consistent and call fouls that are fouls, not because one guy is more aggressive than the other.

i wish the refs could be robots. or at least that there could be a fourth ref watching video replays or something.

I disagree, he was going to the hoop aggressive all game. When you play aggressively you tend to get more calls. Even though he may have not earned those last free throws, he got the last free throws because of his aggressive play. I still was pretty shocked that the refs would call a foul with 1 second left on the clock however.

Wade was aggressive going to the hoop--you are going to get calls when you drive to the hoop 80% of the time. He was unstoppable last night, Dallas had no answer for him (yet again) and so they were forced to foul. The last foul (end of OT), in my opinion, wasn't on Dirk, but on Devin Harris or the other guy behind Wade. I dont know who it was, but Wade had 3 defenders on him when he drove to the hoop. Chances are, someone is getting called for a foul.

loopymitch, How about LBJ/Wade are both awesome and have had incredibly progressive seasons...

Unless you dislike LBJ, which I just don't see how anyone can.

You're going to get free throws but you're not going to get TWENTY FIVE of them unless some of them are extremely weak fouls. I mean gosh you even breath on the guy and it's a foul. I see the heat can run over people, knock people over, etc. and it's not a foul though.

Obviously.

Mavs might have helped themselves by actually trying to play defense on Shaq too rather than just grabbing him everytime he hit the paint. Worked -- Shaq hit only 2-12 FTs. On the other hand, helps ensure that your team spends its entire life in the penalty, fouls out your centers, and inflates the FTs against stat.

Good strategy by Avery to do Hack-a-Shaq when his team wasn't even in the penalty  I guess racking up useless fouls is just his way to ice the shooter or something. It worked better than Howard's attempt!

Wade was incredible to watch last night.

He wasn't fouled on the last drive (at least not a game-winning free throws worthy type foul), but oh well, don't care which team wins, the more excitement the better ;)
