Duncan got injured

Just happened in Lakers spurs game, someone fell into his knee and he went down and was on the ground holding his knee for a while. Don't know how bad it is yet.

Just showed him walking to the Spurs locker room. Moving pretty good, actually.

Well if it's bad, sucks for them. I would never wish injury on a player, but the Spurs have always seemed to be the team without the major injury problems. I hope he's ok, I've never had anything against him. I guess it just shows it can happen to anyone.

he just came back he seems okay...but i bet Spurs fans all over the nation just about jumped out their home windows

i heard though that Tim has been bothered by a sore hip of late...its not bad but its there...

Tim usually has about one injury a year...where he sits out for 4-5 games

yeah, it doesn't seem that bad now. He's back on the bench, only limping a little bit. For a minute there when he was on the ground I tought maybe he got that same injury as Chris, but I guess not

they reported that Duncan's knee was hyperextended (ouch) which is exactly what it looked like. Since the brought him back out, it may not be bad. He is sitting there icing it. I haven't heard whether he is expected back in the 2nd half. I would rest it, but....who knows.

Parker is talking to Cheryl Miller and says that Tim indicates that he is fine. Expected back in 2nd half.

Nothing big, Parker said he should be back 2nd half. but pops is known to sit players down in cases like this. so we really dont know until we see him playing

NBA fans all over the nation really did hold there collective breaths...that just really shows you something about the kind of guy/player you are when nobody wants you to get hurt not even your worst enemy

So true, iheartBrad. I do not like Tony Mass., or Pop, or Horry, or a few others on that team. I do not, however, have anything against Tim Duncan. He is quiet, unassuming, polite, and seems to just go about his business. That is not to mention that he is a very talented player (without ego).

Why should we be the team with all the injury's. I don't want him to die or anything but missing 5 or 6 games wouldn't hurt my feelings at all.

It's good to see that Tim's alright, but what the hell was Brian Cook doing? He flew in there way after the whistle was blown. Didn't seem dirty or anything, just really stupid.

they are a 500 team without him in there 11-11 and thats a fact....while with him in there they are a 71% avg....they can win yes but can they win a championship...i don't think so

Yeah, there is no way they could win it all without Tim.

i hated seeing beno land on his leg like that. the jazz' season derailed on that play. as much as i hate them, i never want to see it end with an injury. especially ak. that guy is so professional.

You still hate the Jazz? With Stockton and Malone gone I can't bring myself to hate them now.
