yes. no doubts in my mind in regards to the trade itself. i have my doubts and reservations about artest's behavior...but i still would do the trade in spite of that.

I was going to vote yes, then no. I JUST DO NOT KNOW AT THIS POINT!!!!! Talent wise, it would help our team. However, is it a quick fix that ends up blowing it all to pieces in the long run. Are we already in pieces and this is starting to put it back together. I JUST DO NOT KNOW!!! I am glad my students are in study hall! Maybe I can figure it out!!

I've changed my mind .....

Peja is NOT the problem - part of the problem - YES .... trading Peja for Artest is dealing with the symptom ... problem doesn't go away.

I really feel Peja has NOT been 100% mentally & physically

This can change .... Peja has shown signs of COMING BACK. Inconsistent yes, but he's coming back.

I voted no. If Ron-Ron blows up, I think we can kiss any potential arena deal goodbye, and the Kings as well. I just don't think he can hold it together, or even really personally cares if he does or not. Trading Peja for other good talent, I'd probably be OK with if the organization thinks it is best for the team.

If Ron-Ron does come here, he gets the same clean slate as everyone else does when traded to the Kings, but I think the leeway and room for error (behavior-wise) is MUCH less. I hope, for the Kings' sake, if he does come here and keep his nose clean. I'd love to be proved wrong, but I don't think there's much of a chance of that, especially with RA possibly out the door this summer.

I wouldn't have at first but now it seems the Kings are desperate for some kind of big change. A superstar caliber player, and any defensive presense right now would be a blessing!

I just want to also say that the Kings have taken on "bad boy" projects in the past and it has worked in their favor. I am willing to give him a chance.
