One of the few positive articles I've found on the trade ... enjoy:

"A.I., ask and you shall receive. Last week Iverson asked the 76ers brass to make some kind of deal to improve the team, to bring in some kind of solid big man to help him out, and the Sixers obliged, engineering a deal last night for Chris Webber. We were shocked at what the Kings took in return for C-Webb, Matt Barnes and Michael Bradley. When we saw that Philly got Webber, we assumed they were either forced to give up Sam Dalembert or Bigg Dogg and young players. Yeah, none of the above. Sacramento settled for Kenny Thomas, Corliss Williamson and Brian Skinner. Huh? When you look at contracts Sacramento is getting in return, they don’t even really get any kind of salary relief. Was this really the best they could do? Not even kidding, in the clip of Kings GM Geoff Petrie announcing the deal, it looked like he couldn’t even remember the names of the guys he was getting in return … So how does this change Philly’s game? To be honest, Webber is the ideal big man to play with Allen. Webber’s a very good shooter who can run sick pick-and-pops with A.I., he can float around outside the lane and get open shots when Allen drives, he won’t be clogging up the middle all the time and he’s a great passer. It all sounds great, as long as Webber’s knee holds up. If it doesn’t, the Sixers are left with nothing inside. Three more years at $62 million of a non-playing, injured Webber is a lot for Philly to bank on that his knee’s ok … The Kings get three bigs and now have ridiculous depth in the frontcourt. All three new guys can mix it up under the boards with Brad Miller, so in that sense, they immediately get tougher."
