Did PDA say Warriors had deal in place for Garnett?

Random note from this interview- did PDA just confirm that the Warriors had an agreement in place to acquire Garnett in 2007??

PDA notes that Vivek "would have killed him" if PDA rejected the Gay deal. He then notes that other owner's would meddle to veto a trade if it costs too much, and starts off saying something about a trade that "would have made a team contenders" that got vetoed over salary issues . . .

This one fits the bill: http://blogs.mercurynews.com/kawaka...did-rowell-nix-mullins-2007-deal-for-garnett/

The other deals were for Al Jefferson or Andris Biedrins in Denver (http://www.denverpost.com/krieger/ci_17265666), but I really hope Pete doesn't think those were championship-level moves.

I was wondering myself what deal he was referring to. Given that he was assistant GM in Golden State at the time, that seems like a legit candidate.
