Did Anybody Notice the Terrible Bench Chemistry

What is the cause of the Kings poor Chemistry

Kenny Thomas seems to get singled out for his attitude and how it hurts the Kings. Now, granted I haven't paid much attention to the details of KT's interactions with the rest of the Kings but all I have ever noticed is that he seldom smiles which some people call a game face. I also can't for the life of me understand how anyone would know KT's relationship with the other Kings unless it was reported in the sports page. I missed the article.

What are the indications that KT is hurting the "chemistry" of the Kings.

Too bad there wasn't another option in the poll so those of us who think the observations mean next to nothing could indicate so.

Actually I didn't notice bad chemistry but I am willing to blame Kenny for everything - up to and including my broken legs.

I was watching the bench during the game Tuesday and I didn't see any real problems. As it's been pointed out, several of our bench players were starting. Those left on the bench were SAR and KT, Daryl Watkins, Quincy Douby. Mike and Beno were in street clothes. Artest, of course, wasn't in the building. Nor was Justin Williams. I'm not sure where Spenser Hawes was, as I didn't see him.

Mikki Moore was constantly being the most vocal in encouraging his teammates, both on and off the court. Garcia spent a fair amount of time talking to Mike Bibby, and by Mike's gestures I got the feeling he was actually coaching Cisco. Brad, Salmons and Martin were pretty much in the game most of the time - so I think this thread is blowing things WAY out of proportion.

I'm sorry. I disagree. I am a firm believer that as a "teamate" When the action calls for, you should be encouraging your teammate; off of your seat encouraging just like the fans. While the players on the floor were busting their arse coming back from 20 down, and Arco was out of their seat but KT, MM and the crew were just sitting there barely clapping their hands. That is unacceptable to me. It may not be interpreted as bad chemistry, but I want to see "teammates encouraging teammates". I see that on most teams. I did not see it last year, and so far after one instance, I have not seen it yet.

I saw it. If you didn't, I don't know what to tell you. We have a lot of stuff to be concerned about right now; I honestly don't think team chemistry is among the top problems. And Mikki Moore IS supportive, enthusiastic, etc. There are lots of parts of his game you can complain about, but that certainly isn't one of them. It's been discussed by Grant and Jerry, mentioned by Reggie Theus, hit on by Jim Kozimor, etc. They aren't all just making it up...

As far as Kenny goes, he's not demonstrative. Never has been, to my knowledge. What I have seen from Kenny this year, however, is a willingness to stick up for his teammates. When Josh Howard rushed at Brad Miller, it was none other than Kenny Thomas and Mike Bibby who rushed to Brad's assistance.

I DID see teammates encouraging teammates. I also saw a head coach doing everything, as I've mentioned before, but suit up and go on the court himself. Team chemistry was NOT a problem, Purple Reign.

I'm adding a sub-poll in a new thread, so people who don't think there were team chemistry problems can so indicate. Otherwise, it's totally misleading. It's no different than having a poll that says "When did you quit chewing your fingernails?" and offering only the days of the week and not "I don't chew my fingernails" as a possible answer.
