Destiny's Child/LeAnn Rimes expected to perform at All Star Game

All-Star
This coming week the NBA is expected to announce this years entertainment at the all star game in Denver....Destiny's Child and LeAnn Rimes are two expected performers

and BEFORE everyone complains about the choices...i just want to say they gotta do whats popular....and considering the league markets themselves as the young n' hip sport...they have to choose popular music...the music of today

personally i have no problems with the choices and can't wait to hear DC sing "Solider"...they better sing it anyway...but i bet they sing "lose my breath" since thats basically the arena banger when you go to games

Yet 2 more reasons to boycott the AS game

i just feel like all the players hate each other and are enemies or rivals or whatever during the course of the season and this is the one time of the year where everyone is smiling, getting along and having fun...players that could of punched each other two weeks prior are now giggling like school girls...I LOVE IT!

it just warms my great big heart

i'll certianly be changing the channel during half time. beyonce was there last year!!!

LOL....I can't remember the last one I watched either, but if I had to take a guess, I'd say....................between 15 and 20 years ago.

Not sure why this is news or better/worse than the normal halftime fare?

I saw the superbowl halftime. A lot of people around the net seem to be complaining about it. I thought it was pretty sweet.

second best half time show i've ever seen, next to U2's a few years back. the nba needs to get with the program, and ditch the crap artists. i, for one, was absolutely stoked to hear that the nfl enlisted paul mccartney for the half-time show. he rocked so hard. hey jude is one of my absolute favorite beatles songs, and (while it was shortened for time slot purposes) it was pretty sweet to see paul can still stratch his voice a little. all in all, i was glad to see the nfl tone down the onslaught of selling sex and beer in their big super bowl production. it was classier this year, and thats the way it should be.

Concur wholeheartedly. What is McCartney, about 64? The man is a legend and a true class act. Superbowl halftime is always gonna be a spectacle of sorts, and the stage and graphics were kinda flashy for my taste, but awesome at the same time. And the crowd with the "Na Na Na NA NA NA NA, NA NA NA NA" cards, wow. The downside? He didn't do Maybe I'm Amazed. Question: how do they do that...get the stage and crowd out there and back in about 35-40 minutes time? I'd love to see footage of that show! ;)

Beyonce, forget JAY Z. Im all the soldier you need!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hahahaha!

Ive never been a big Beatles fan, but Paul was great. We need more halftime shows like that.

You know who I think would do a great halftime show? AC/DC

as far as them getting booed a few years ago...they didn't really think through wearing Lakers gear in Philly territory...i mean it was the finals for gosh sakes and they choose to wear this decontructed Lakers stuff on the Sixers floor during a halftime show....i love what they wear and Tina Knowles is an awesome designer but she didn't think that through....and thats the only reason why they were booed

and if i remember correctly one year it was Raiders/Eagles NFC championship game...at least i think it was...and LL Cool J performed wearing a Raiders jersey...he got booed....once again being in Philly....

those Philly fans are no joke when it comes to their teams....i think they are by far the city that won't hesistate to boo...even before NY...well the NYK fans anyway

^^When DC got booed in Philly during the Finals...1 had on Laker stuff, 1 had on Sixer stuff and the other 1 had on generic NBA gear. It's not what they were wearing..it's the fans of Philly.
