Desert Island Music Draft - Coaches rankings

Okay, we're now officially done with the draft. Next step is for each participant to rank the other 15 so we can determine seeding for the votes. Since UK kings fan did not complete the draft, he will be ranked in last place. I think it's only fair that he not be ranked above anyone who actually finished.

well as you remember he liked my The Cars pick, so he probably had me ranked #1. You can just randomize everybody else's ranking on his list.

I'm still waiting for Padrino's rankings. He hasn't been on the board since last Wednesday, so I'm thinking if he does not respond by tomorrow (to allow for the fact he may have been gone for the Labor Day weekend), I'm going to do the seeding without his input. Despite Bricklayer's excellent suggestion, I think the randomized option just wouldn't be reflective of his tastes.

Seemed as good a choice as any... I can always change it if that's too long. Since I didn't set a specific time when I posted the threads, I didn't want to just arbitrarily cut off the voting right before or during the weekend. If anyone has a better suggestion, I'm totally listening.

I just thought that might take a long time - 3.5 more weeks to get a champion. On the other hand, I'm not sure that there's anything else going on in the lounge, and that's around the time training camp will finally open, so it's not a disaster if it goes for a while. At least, as long as we can get people to keep checking back in to vote!

I might speed them up based on our prior experiences just so that people stay in the rhythm of checking out the lounge and voting.

40 minutes per poll seems a fair number, just so long as I am on when they go up.
