Denver over San Antonio?

spurs are in trouble because i don't think they can win in denver

Sure they can. Any team can win on any floor, esp at this time of the year with the added motivation/urgency. Plus, the Spurts have won two titles. I should hope they could win at Pepsi Co Fieldhouse Coliseum. If they don't...I'll eat some finger-lickin-good Wendy's chili.

Are you going to cut your own finger off and then try to sue Wendy's for it? :)

Spurs are notorious for losing their first playoff game...that series is far from over and I do predict Spurs should take it in 6.

You know they arrested that lady, right? When she resisted investigation, authorities dug a little deeper on her background and she was busted on some previous real estate scam of $11K. Bottom line, you don't include a human body part in a scam. Things like severed fingers tend to raise eyebrows. I just wonder if the person missing that finger is still with us.

I heard someone in her family had died, like her aunt or somebody and they took the finger from the deceased.

Blah. Some people, I'll tell ya... Man, that is ghoulish.

It's a little early for this, but this kind of reminded me of one of those "Autopsy" programs that they used to show on HBO with Michael Baden, the pathologist. There was a case where they found a waterlogged hand on the beach and were able to get prints by slipping the skin from the fingertips onto one of the investigator's hands (with latex gloves on, of course). She rolled the prints out and they traced the hand back to a guy who had already been buried. The person who cut it off was an employee of the mortuary who hated the guy because he ripped her off or something before he died. She was into voodoo and she put a bunch of dolls in the casket with notes that had curses on them. The significance of cutting the hand off was, iirc, to make the guy's soul have to endlessly search for it in the afterlife. Blah. Some people, I'll tell ya... This is the country we live in.

And the good part is that I can proudly admit to hating Wendy's food even before this scandal. Their burgers have always tasted a little gamy or undercooked to me. Of course, having worked at a fast food restaurant when I was 16, I've been turned off to fast food in general. I think I was too conscientious and germ-phobic to last in the business. To this day, everytime I meet someone who has worked at a fast food restaurant, they always have horror stories of their own.

I recently saw a Dateline special about which joints get dinged the most for health code vios. Dairy Queen and Arby's I will never patron. Their most common ding was for cross-contamination and from employees not washing their hands after touching money and going to the restroom.
