You tell me where I denied it was a big win? Where I said the win meant totally nothing?

I was being sarcastic, because I feel you guys overreact. I state something logical, as a response to the other poster, and the next thing I am being touted as overly negative, and what else. I didn't bash any player, didn't say it was because Detroit was lucky, did not bring any annoying Webber/Peja debate..

It may be my lack of posts, it may be 'general negativity amongst the relative new fans', but please...don't be so quick to make judgements. I've been around for awhile, but I've never really posted that much.

I may not be the biggest fan. Certainly am not the longest fan either. But hey, I care enough to stay up at night to 5 a.m. sometimes to follow the Kings' scores. Since I'm from Europe. I also care enough to happy when they win.

For some reason, I've always felt I had some threshold before posting here, and now's it not any different I guess. I'll stick to lurking again.

When I said the only numbers that truly mattered, you responded with sarcasm so don't act like we're jumping to conclusions. You could easily have said something about "Yes, the final score matters but..."

You didn't. You came back with sarcasm and the rolling eyes emoticon. You reap what you sow.

geez talk about being defensive. No one is telling you not to post. Since you've been lurking you should know that peoples emotions are always riding high after wins, bad trades, etc... Most of the threads are positive becuz everyone is happy about the win so the last thing you want to read is someone being negative trying to rain on the parade.
Just a suggestion: If you want to analyze and nit pick about stats maybe you should wait a while when the emotions have subsided, or post in a different thread/start a new thread, or talk about it on a non-game day. At least that way you won't feel offended when people don't respond the way you want them to.

It was because you stated the obvious (not too mention it came off as belittling) , and the undertone of your message was still clearly 'you're being too negative'. 'You reap what you sow' indeed.

I already stated before your post that my intention wasn't to be negative. Yet that wasn't much of consequence.

I posted in a previous thread about how some Teams challenge you to score 70 against them, we played them today. So, with the great defense our team played today, I think 85 will be O.K.for us...........What a great game, can't wait till tue night for some more. Brian Skinner and Brad (hopefully) will be an outstanding pair.:D

I hate to be the negative guy after a great win. But what was evident to me during this game is that if the Kings and Pistons played a seven game series, the Kings would be lucky to win twice. It took a complete MAXIMUM effort for the Kings and a horrible start to the Pistons to win this game. I mean really, how often are SO MANY of our guys on top of their games? So no, at this point i do not think the Kings are better than the Pistons. But we really have so much more room to grow even until the playoffs that the Kings' ending product MAY BE just as good as anyone in the league.
Don't think so the pistons are overrated Basketball Team. They are are allowed to play football and hockey on defense and if they can't do this they have no Game. They can't score and there style of play is Based on how much they can pressure the opposition on defense.THe refs allowed free flowing play which resulted in the victory for the kings.Mike bibby always has an edge over billups and lasr time I saw peja matched up against prince peja had the edge over him.I seriously do not think that a larry brown TEAM in this ERA can beat a kings team of this ERA.

BTW-Who watched the ABC half-time show, both guys including Bill "the idiot' Walton, picked the Kings to lose. Nice to show them up.

that is exactly what i thought about after the win. they were so sure the pistons were going to win.
