It does for me but different people learn differently.
I actually started playing with a memory font (
sans forgetica) before my Halloween tribute show this year and found it interesting. At my annual conference this year there was actually a memory seminar where different methodologies were discussed and I learned about the "hard to read font" method, and that sans forgetica was designed to do that (presenters didn't know about it). I wish I had taken better notes on that one lol.
I think I digress a bit - the reason iPads are now in class is because they replaced blue books, all their text books are digital, so they've largely also replaced lockers and big backpacks, and I think all their tests and homework are done with them. May even reduce cheating somehow but tbh they are allowed so much more freedom and technology than I was as a student.
