Fox can eat it. Got rid of haliburton and got sabonis for him. Signed his best friend. Then went and got a multiple time all star. Tried trading kev and Lyle’s for 2 seasons but no return was apparently gonna get us what was needed. Now we got 3 multiple time all stars and still got his best friend that averages near 20. That starting lineup was top notch the other 4-5 players played the whole game. Only one person felt he could turn it on and off on a whim.

Can I say "I told you so" yet on the Mike Brown firing being the last straw which led to Fox leaving or are we still keeping that same 7 game winning streak "let him burn, we'll never lose again!" energy? Just testing the temperature on this.

Mike Brown's firing happened after key indicators Fox was out - namely the Draymond show and the Rich Paul meeting - so I'm not taking anything Fox says at face value right now.

It may have been the last straw from a DeAaron publicity perspective, but it just seems all too likely he was gone regardless. Maybe he would have been a happy camper throughout the rest of this year, but seems highly likely he reiterates again at the end of the season that he's not signing the extension and we move him then (with the same public messaging that the Spurs are his desired destination).

Found on Reddit that apparently D-Lo said a while back MB was told to fire either Loucks or Triano. Which is really weird but seems like a way to elevate DC to the top of the bench (for when MB would be fired) while also pissing off Fox.

I cant believe anyone believes what Fox says anymore.

Guy is all about his brand, it's over. When spurs don't want him they will trade him too. He's going to the Spurs not the Lakers. They are not Hollywood and the only person who will be getting credit for winning is Wimbly.

Wimbly doesn't utilize his size nearly enough and takes way too many jumpers for my liking. I domt think this marriage will have a happy ending
