Hall of Famer
Hope it’s short term. Never really know with this team and injuries though.
The first timeline that showed up on google was 1-2 months to fully heal. That was on a legitimate medical site. Not sure if it’s a pain management thing or not
Season over if he’s missing more than 5-10 games. I’m so over this BS happening to us
I hope so!! We definitely have talent. Just hate some of our bad luck over the yearsIMHO, I predict that Davion Mitchell will step up big and fill Fox's shoes quite well.
Huerter, Keegan and Sabonis is going to make up the scoring void. I think the Kings will stay around .500 and stay in the playoff picture, while Fox is out.
I had a bruised kneecap that took a year to heal, it was fine when I sprinted but burned like hell during distance running/jogging. Probably gone for 5-10 games since he has a pro medical staff focused only on his knee. The first timeline that showed up on google was 1-2 months to fully heal. That was on a legitimate medical site. in true Kings fashion, when a Kings player plays well, an injury is imminent
Praise beSean Cunningham said on his podcast that he got the impression from the team that this was a minor thing and he speculated Fox could return for the Golden State game
Hopefully with his last game and now a couple games starting, Davion will really start to settle in. I'd love to see him build some chemistry with Domas that will help us longer term this year.Makes me very thankful that we drafted Mitchell. He went off against Charlotte because the absence of Fox required him to unleash his game. I look at the starting lineup with Mitchell in Fox's place and it's still a good unit but with better defense; less dynamic offensively, but then again there are still multiple guys that can score.
As much as I want to believe it, I'm not totally convinced Davion's defensive impact in the NBA is as good as his reputation. I know it's hard for stats to totally capture defensive value, and "defensive rating" has a fair amount to do with the other players on the floor, but his stats don't jump out as significantly better than fox this year. He definitely has his "off-night" moments when he really tears into someone defensively, but play over play is he really making an overall defensive impact when he's on the floor?I trust davion will do just fine and we just may be surprised how well his defense will help the starters. If he is on the floor for 25 minutes or more that will be a good sign.

I'm not down on Davion at all, just wondering if I'm missing his overall defensive impact or if there is still more to come as he continues to adjust to the NBA game.
