ya know, those numbers really dont bother me that much. better james stays hot than a guy like rashard lewis, who is much more talented and much more capable of changing the face of a game. jerome james is playing well, and his numbers may be better than shaq's,. but he is still no shaq. he's not an impact player. i think the kings should stick to the game plan: drop off james, fluster lewis, and allow james to think he's an incredible player....which he isnt, and wont be.
 
^Well said, James won't be doing this as often as Rashard. It was a strategy that almost worked in the Minnesota series with KG.

(And, off topic, but the Gorillaz are great. :) )
 
also off topic: yes they are. the new album is incredible. i came across a leaked copy of it, and i really like it.

I wasn't trolling. I haven't watched but 5 minutes of the Sac/Sea series and I saw the comparison between James and O'Neal on another site, hence the wtf reaction. I was looking at him as a possible FA target, but if he keeps this up, the Sonics will make him an offer he can't refuse.
 
Jerome has undoubtably been playing well this series; but i think this stat comparison more shows how badly shaq has been playing than how well jerome has. I think he only had 10 pts. today. Ironically, mobley said Jerome "wasn't shaq", but right now he's playing BETTER than shaq.LOL

I think Jerome James should donate a portion of his next contract to the Kings. ;)

Seriously, this guy was great this series and he certainly impressed me. He thoroughly dominated the low post and made Brad Miller look like a scrub. He is gonna turn out to be a solid center in this league.
