As sad as it makes me, Yo has nothing to prove and nothing more to play for EXCEPT another championship. So I can understand why she did it. *sniff*

6th, you might want to rethink not going to the Sonics games, at least the first one.Those of us who love Yo, should fill the arena to the rafters and show her how much she has meant to the Monarchs team and its fans. I will cry, tho.

kennadog, the 1st game that Yo returns in the "wrong uniform" is the pre-season game. There won't be a very big crowd anyway.

So it's official & the news really SUCKS!
I'm with 6th...Yo has been my all time favorite player in the WNBA.
I bought courtside seats to watch her play. Just this season I decided to move a few rows back anticipating her retireing & to save $50 bucks a game.
Today I'm glad I did move...Almost all my jerseys are Yo Griffith's, I have a pair of signed game worn nike's Yo gave me one season & countless signed trading cards, these treasure don't even compare to having Yo in a Monarchs uniform.

For years I loved her game face on game day, now I plan to give back my fan game face...I'll still marvel over her career acomplishments & cherish the memories....

I will not jump up & down for Seattle anytime soon
