Costly Win For Minny

Since I missed most of the gaem maybe someone who saw what happend to Madsen could up date on his injury, I just know he had to leave the game. Then late in the 4th Sam went down with some foot/ankel injury. No word yet on the severity of either injury, lets hope both guys will be ok.

i didn't see madsen's injury but i did see cassell's.. not so sure what happened, though.. it wasn't from a foul or something, from what i saw..

cassell was just dribbling it, and then he suddenly just had to let the ball go and pass it to someone and he immediately went to the announcer's table and lay on the floor near it.. he couldn't get up, and he had to be helped to walk (or limp) off the court..

i'm GUESSING it's his hip, which he had surgery on in the offseason, cause i really didn't see any contact for that to happen.. so i'm thinking it could be an old injury.. i heard the commentators's say he may have had a leg injury.. but there was no official report on it yet..

Cassell had ankle problems before, didn't he? It's hard for me to worry about Madsen. He's a bad train wreck waitng to happen. I have always been apprehensive when he plays the Kings.

It looked to me that Madsen may have a broken hand. I say broken b/c the only way this guy would leave the floor is if it was severe.

No word on Madsen (although I agree he is not likley to leave unless it was bad) But ESPN reported Sam strained his ham string.

Even though this may sound evil in a way, Its too bad his back problems that he had in the Lakers series didnt occur before he played us, or at least it wasnt as severe.

i saw the madsen thing happen. it's a fractured thumb, the word is he'll miss a few months.

looks like pippy longstockings jr will be getting the playing time he wants for a few games now that gollum is hurt again.

not an impressive win by the woofs. they just barely beat an AI less 76ers.

I saw Sam get hurt but not Madesen. I thikn I saw Sam's hip move kinda weird so that might be it. But that is just what I saw. They will probably have an update for him today.

i just found out what happened. I found it at the player notes at Yahoo for Fantasy:

News: Point guard Sam Cassell pulled his right hamstring in the fourth quarter of last night's win over the 76ers. According to the Minneapolis Star Tribune, his status for Saturday's game at Washington is uncertain.
Views: The Wolves would be wise not to rush the 35-year-old veteran back too soon. Use an alternative in daily fantasy leagues. If Cassell cannot go, Troy Hudson will start in his place. (Fanball.com)

The boy is tore up from the floor up!

for some reason that REALLY made me laugh..hehehe

as for the game it self last night...i saw the highlights (while in progress)...Minny pulled away at one point in the game but then in the fourth quarter they made it really interesting...and HIGHLY stressful for Twolves fans....and lets all keep in mind that they won by just 4 points i believe...and this was WITHOUT AI...whats going on in Minny? This team was suppose to be at the top of its division and at the top of the Western conference...hm things change huh? hehehehe

But not bad for Philly 5-3 on a western conference road trip...thats pretty darn good...and the games they lost i don't think they were that far out...good for them
