Do you ever wonder what it takes to keep a great site like this running? I'm not talking about the time and dedication of our owner/administrator or the time and commitment of our moderators. I'm talking about the dollars necessary each month to provide the site and bandwidth necessary to handle the traffic we see from the 1500 members.
I checked in tonight (a Tues. evening at 10 p.m. Pacific Time) and found 102 people checked in. My heavens it is TDOS (that stands for The Dreaded Off Season) and we have over 100 people relying on the information, the camaraderie, and the basketball family atmosphere that this site provides.
Well, some of us have become Contributing Members to help defray the cost of keeping us up and running. If you would like to help, by becoming a contributing member, all you need do is click on your UserCP button above, scroll down to "Paid Subscriptions" and order the contributing level that you feel you can best afford. If you do not use PayPal, send a PM to Jeremy, our board owner (a.k.a. Administrator) and ask about how to mail him a check.
Contributing members are allowed a larger avatar size; get to choose their own title to place under their username; have access to a special forum for Contributing members only; and, most importantly, have the satisfaction of knowing that you have helped the greatest Kings message board on the web.
