"Los Angeles Sparks’ center and three-time WNBA MVP Lisa Leslie and her husband, Michael Lockwood, are celebrating the arrival of their first child. Lauren Jolie Lockwood was born Friday, June 15 at 4:11 a.m. at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. The baby was 20 inches long and weighed eight pounds, 11 ounces."

20 inches at birth? That's a big kid! Could be a possible future WNBA player in the making?

I'm suprised she wasn't named after Ann Meyers!

My guess is that the choice for naming her Lauren was more personal, like perhaps a family relative.

I doubt that it had anything to do with Lauren Jackson.
