Listen to his interview on mlb.com - what a great guy! I really don't see why people hate him as a person (before steroids issue came up). He always said he need concentration, but when he accomplished something - he is always welcome to media and happy to answer any questions, until next milestone.

People either love a superstar or hate him, Bonds doesn't give up enough of himself to be loved, which is fine, he plays baseball, and he does that better than anyone else.

Regardless of the whole roids issue, the guy still is racking the league up with OBP and slugging % and walks, along with his amazing batting average, which I do not think steroids account for... The guy walked what was it, 232 times? and he still managed to hit 45 home runs. Great job Barry

If they didnt walk him like they did this year but did it normally (non-intentional) he would have over 800hrs already.
