And I'm guessing middle name Rose after the Rose Garden?

Not gonna make fun of a kid's name, but I would have switched the middle and first names. Or, just go with "Evelyn" and keep the tribute as the "rest of the story". Evelyn Rose is a lovely name.

When naming kids something unique, there's a big divide between uncommon names and weird names.

Ixm guessing they will just call her Evelyn, like you've suggested. Which if you're going to do that just name them that.

I'd guess they just call her Rose. I have a friend who gave his daughters "weird" names with normal middle names intending they could embrace their weird name or adopt the middle name. They both chose the weird name.

also the weird names are downright pedestrian by 2020 standards (or even by say 2005 standards) but in the late 80s I guess they were still uncommon.
