Congrats to The Celtics!

Best of all, Scott Pollard finally gets a ring. He (and the toher Kings) were cheated in 2002, but his team takes the 2008 title from the Los Angeleas Kobes. Hardware is hardware.

I absolutely loved how KG lossed his cool at the end. His raw emotion and unabashed thrill of the moment was inspiring.

I love that the Lakers had to fly all the way across the country to get smacked by nearly 40 points...

...and now they have to fly back.

Count me in as one that was rooting for KG to get a title. Gotta love the emotion. That's what it's all about.

-KG (my favorite non-King) gets a ring.

-The Lakers are humiliated.

-I won $20 bucks from my roommate.

... And the all or nothing, wheel-and-deal style of GMing proves successful.

Pretty satisfying non-Kings finals as far as I'm concerned :D

Yup congrats to Boston, and congrats to Scot Pollard and Eddie House, former Kings. I gotta admit, at the start of the season, I didn't think they'd be able to do it.

creAtivetfh and PejaFanatic's posts have been merged, just in case there is any confusion; that picture was just too damned big.

I'm extremely happy Boston beat LA. I actually thought LA would win this game but I'm really happy to be wrong.

Great to see KG get a ring. He deserves it. He's not a fake or anything, he is 100% real. It's good to see players like that get a ring. Same with Pierce and Ray.

Nice to see Eddie and Scott get a ring also. Same with PJ Brown and Powe. They have a lot of likeable players on their team.

Rondo would be ridiculously good if he had a J.

I hope that you're not talking about the picture *I* posted, because I made that myself.

I do not think highly of 4chan, and I avoid it like the plague.

Avoid it? How on earth could one stumble upon it?

And your pic and the "for the lulz" post were what brought it to my mind. I knew your pic wasn't from it, but the meme of saying anything is "FAIL" can be directly attributed to 4chan whether you like it or not. It was very fitting and quite funny for your picture though.

Not really. Just like those "despair" pictures: denizens of 4chan say that they attributed to them, and that may have been where they became popular, but that's not where they originated; they originated at despair.com.

"Fail" may have become a meme thanks to 4chan, but they didn't make it up, and they don't deserve credit for originating the concept. Hell, I was seeing pictures like that on Off-Topic back in 2001, before 4chan even existed.

you'd better thank ainge, garnett, allen and james freakin posey.

I could not be happier that my "former team" just kicked the Lakers "you know what" to win their 17th title.

WOOHOO!!

Someone tell me again why the Kings traded Eddie House? He seems to just keep on playing well as he goes from team to team.

I always wondered the same thing. He's usually a very solid player and was relatively cheap.....

I don't remember the Kings trading Eddie House. I remember they claimed him off waivers when Bobby got hurt and I remember him signing with Phoenix in the offseason. Maybe I lost a memory in there somewhere.
