I like Suggs a lot and this makes sense from a team fit perspective for both teams, but I'm demanding more if I'm the Cavs to bridge the talent gap.

Yeah, Garland as the engine to take the playmaking pressure off Franz/Paolo would be awesome. Although Suggs is a huge part of why that defense is so good, so a bit of a give and take.

this move would also allow Black to showcase what he can do as a starter. He's a solid defender, nowhere near Suggs level but it can indicate to Orlando whether he's worth keeping long term or useful for trade bait
