In a way he’s the anti-Harrison Barnes in that he sorta sucks for 80% of the year but turns into Superman when the games really matter whereas HB is really solid and a great winning piece for most of the year but wilts under the bright lights whenever it counts for something.

Oh sure, tanking needs fixing but we're all okay with the Lakers being +1000 in Free Throw Attempts compared to the rest of the league and getting the best player of this generation in trade for a broken down 32 year old forward and no draft compensation? How about we just change the NBA logo to the Lakers logo while we're at it and give them the next six first overall picks too.

He did start Keon in the next post season game against Curry, and he made it really tough on him. Ironically, it didn't seem to make any impression on the organization wanting to commit to him going forward. Your guess is as good as mine

the way he is able to shift laterally is such a joy, much easier for a smaller player of his stature but still a very impressive defensive skill

Allegedly the draftexpress guy was getting paid by the agent to hype him up
There was no clear #1 last year in what was already considered a modest draft.
I think it's more of a Pervis Ellison situation where nobody picked last year was ever going to live up to the expectations of a #1 overall but they can still be a non-premium starter or high value roleplayer if they stay healthy.
