big loss for the Wolves, he only averaged 7.5 FGA for them last season but this season with the Hawks he's all the way up to 15. getting a starting role and more usage can bring the best out of players that are kind of just brewing in the background. I always mention trying to pluck those low hanging fruits especially as a small market franchise, unfortunately the Kings don't succeed in this approach. Watch Anthony Black prosper once he gets a starting role and more usage. I remember Hardboild was always on the Okongwu talk and now he's getting a chance to start and shine. DeAndre Hunter was also buried on the bench for the Hawks and he too is now starting for the Cavs. Avdija was rotting away in Washington and Portland saw the fruit there for the plucking. There are many more examples but the point remains the same.

if I'm ATL, I'm testing the market for Trae and try to get maximum return while possible. They can potentially make a Pistons type of leap if done sooner rather than later.

I find myself wondering where the bigger "hate-watching" quotient is coming from: team-first Spurs fans who think that Fox is getting in the way of Castle/Vassell/Harper's development, or disgruntled Kings fans?

Speaking only for myself I have no intention in watching Fox in a Spurs jersey in games that don't involve the Kings, which is presumably a pre-requisite to hate watching.

Well, I'll tell you what: the number may not be as big as I want to think it is, but I'd bet you lunch that it's bigger than you think it is... Wait until the next time the Spurs lose and Fox has a bad night, and see how many people come out from whatever rocks they've been hiding under to get their takes off. They've been mostly silent because Fox has been playing well and the Spurs have been winning; as soon as either one of those things changes, they'll be back.

Are they watching anything other than box scores? I think a lot of people in this group (definitely the ones on reddit and twitter) are just eternally mad at everything.

I think over the years I've become conditioned to treat my Kings fandom like the $100 gambling money I'd take to a casino, I've already written it off as a total loss before the night begins so any joy it brings me is an added bonus.

Without knowing what game you are even watching I am guessing you are talking about SGA with Steph a very distant runner up.

Are we sure it's a matter of raising their voice and not a matter of their choice of words? Because, sometimes, I feel like some refs don't necessarily mind the raising of a player's voice as much as they mind that player's choice of words throughout the exchange. This might have just been an instance where Draymond didn't necessarily say anything bad, and the ref didn't mind the voice being raised a bit...Just a thought to ponder over...:):):)

I’d ponder that if he wasn’t running at officials in a hostile way it’s crazy what he gets away with

Oh yeah, I didn't reply to this when I saw it the first time, but this counts in my Personal Record Book™. If you're checking the box scores to see whether Fox played poorly, so you can roast him when he does, that's as close to "hate-watching" as makes no difference.
