Combo trade idea with Denver, NY and Sacto

i wonder how bad Denver wants Bonzi and wants to get rid of K-Mart and how bad New York wants K-Mart. Because here is what i am thinking

Sign and trade Bonzi + Brad Miller to Denver
Marcus Camby to Sacramento
K-Mart to New York
Jalen Rose to Sacramento

Why we do this fill our gaping defensive hole in the front court and with Rose we get a veteran to be there just in case the kids don't get it done at the 2 spot and its just for one year. then we got Corlis, Vitaley, Hart, and Rose coming off the books next season. Which will free up roughly 22 million dollars

Why Denver, well they covet Bonzi at the 2 guard and they want K-mart out. Now they lose Camby but they do get a capable offensive Center to spread the floor for Carmelo and Bonzi to work inside.

Why New York, Well they for some reason love big contracts and are interested in K-Mart. the are filled up at the swingman spot so losing Jalen is no biggy.

yes it is and with that in mind we could send Corlis in that same trade to New york along with K-Mart. that way they do still have an expiring contract next season as well. I didn't realize Jalen's contract was so large

Yes indeed it would be to much if Bonzi was here and signed for 3 years. but the fact is i believe he is gone either sign and trade or he walks.

You do know that Bonzi has received an offer from the Kings and that several of the other interested teams can only offer him the MLE, right?

It's actually looking more and more like we will retain Bonzi Wells.

Yeah I know that as well as anybody. I also know that all the other teams are jumping on the hot comodity FA quickly. Bonzi being the best 2 guard on the market and not signed yet leads me to believe a S + T is in the works that is why its not a done deal yet. It is obviouls GP and Muss are aware of our weakness in the front court because of the Summer league guys. They are working on something and all signs point to Bonzi being involved because of the delay.

I forgot till someone else in here said it (sorry, don't remember which thread), but Bonzi's asthma is exacerbated at Denver's altitude. He has trouble playing up there. Not sure he wants to feel that way 41 games out of the year and practices.

As much as i like Camby, its too much to give up in my opinion.

what is to much to give up for me is the championships we could have won if not for a weak *** front court defense. The last 3 years i have hoped and prayed my way through playoffs knowing the whole time we can't do it unless somebody stops the easy layups and dunks or at least tries to. Without that we can win and with Miller and our PF's we can stop it. So if it means losing Bonzi which is easy to fill his spot then yes we lose Bonzi and get a damn Force down low.

Using Bonzi in a S&T to get an expiring deal doesn't make any sense. If you want to cut salary, cut salary by getting an expiring deal for someone like KT. But adding Jalen Rose to the current roster instead of Bonzi just adds salary for a year, it doesn't do anything to get the Kings closer to being under the cap.

And Camby is too injury prone. He's good, but he's 32 and not going to get any healthier.
