and the Cavs are a better team, but lets not give them any credit. Doesn't matter who wins this series because both teams would lose to CHI or DET.

Wow. Considering how much hype surrounded Lebron James when he came into the league, I really find the fact this series is being pretty much ignored fascinating.

With all the 4-0 sweeps in the east so far and boring play relative to the wild-wild west maybe not a surprise. If Labron gets to the next round conference final vs. Detroit maybe he can show that it's not all hype. So far, I can barely keep my attention for more than a couple minutes on any games in the east, but GSW/Utah and Phx/SA - WOW!

Game 3 may have been the most lethargic/boring nba basketball game that i have ever seen in my life.
Also, Larry Hughes is the worst PG in the NBA.

I thought it was most telling that the broadcaster basically said that the final two minutes of Warriors/Jazz garbage time last night was better than this entire game!

I disagree....it has less to do with it being lethargic and more to do with the pace of the Eastern conference in general in comparison to the West. I actually enjoy watching the change of pace...the beauty of the NBA is the extreme contrast in styles from team to team. In any case, watching Jason Kidd at his best is entertaining no matter the tempo.

That's because he's not a point guard. The only reason why Hughes is playing the position is because Mike Brown has lost faith in Eric Snow, and there is no third option.

James is ostensibly the "point guard" for that team; Brown is basically utilizing Phil Jackson's "start two SGs and let your swingman handle the ball" strategy.

I know that Hughes is not a natural point guard (and I have followed both his and Eric Snow's careers before and after arriving to Cleveland), but he is also not a natural anything else. He is a selfish player who plays no defense and has a unique ability to interrupt any offensive flow that his team may have.

I'm not paying that much attention to the game, quite honestly, but I really enjoyed the pre-game banter between Shaquille O'Neal and Charles Barkley. Ernie and Kenny had great fun in playing and replaying the clips of the "fight" between Shaq and Barkley.

In watching the Cavs, I can't help but picture Bibby-James pick and rolls wreaking havoc with the Nets defense.

Vince Carter may be the most frustratingly difficult-to-watch star in the league. He is so incrediby skilled, and yet he is terrible in the clutch and plays incredibly lazy at times.

I really think that that show is sometimes better to watch than the basketball games.

Goodness, this is dire. These two Game 5s in the East I think might be jsut about the worst two Game 5 closeouts by home teams that I can remember. Just awful, ugly, pathetic stuff.

Maybe if Rick does not go to Houston he can take over LeBron in Cleveland after Miek Brown gets his butt canned for being terminally boring despite having a HOF talent.

zzzzzzzz.... boring! The Cavs crowd is as quiet as a library - no make comatose viewing at a morgue. Please wake me up at 7:30 PST so I can watch Suns/Spurs.

Yep, I think I said the same a few days ago when someone called this "Eastern conference style". It's just absolutely boring, soulless, lethargic and boring basketball. If I was at the game, I would ask for my money back.

Also, Larry Hughes sucks even more than I thought.

I think J-Kidd has really proven why he has to be considered one of the best point gaurds ever. He literally does EVERYTHING for his team to win. He'll rebound, lead the break, score when neccessary, gaurd the other team's best player, play terrific team defense, and go after every loose ball like his life depended on it. What an incredible player.
