Christie passed his physical and is playing tonight

I just got off the phone with the Orlando Magic flagship radio station and they indicated that Christie passed his physical and is suiting up tonight against Detroit.

Did the Kings not get a memo or as I am assuming it was an issue of timing. The radio said no Webber, no Bibby, no Cat or Bradley at practice today...I think they practice sometime between 11 and 3....

He probably just passed the physical as in probably a couple of hours, which means he missed practice. Its not necessary to practice, however Cat is going to look a bit lost tomorrow if he plays. Expect him to play limited minutes. Fine by me :) WOOOHOOOO!!!! now WELCOME CAT!!

i guess i am glad that christie passed his physical. i just wish taht he were still here. i am going to miss. i just hope that it doesn't have a huge impact on the team. it already has on me. i just hope that cuttino and mobley will come through for us. i don't really know anything about them but if they don't come through for us then i will be very mad. are we aloud to trade back? if they don't come through, then i hope we can!! lol

Cuttino Mobley is one person... The other person in the trade was Michael Bradley ;)

suiting up is great, but getting some playing time would be much better. I just heard the update (on TV) and they mentioned that with only 5 minutes left in the game, Doug hasn't played at all. He's been on the bench the whole game

yea, i totally agree with you. doug is a great player. i dont see why they haven't played him yet. if your going to trade someone, the least you could do is give them some playing time!! heck, he was a starter for us and was in most of the time!!

It looked like he was in his sweatsuit so he must need a day or so to get to know the team and get mentally ready.

I was at the game. Doug was in uniform and took pre-game warm ups with the team, but he didn't play. He was the biggest cheerleader on the bench though.

Aww Dougie... I could just see him in his new uni, clapping and cheering his team on.

I didn't really expect him to play in the first game, but I'm sure he'll get some good PT soon.

no matter who doug plays for, he will always cheer his teammates on. that is just the type of person that he is. he is a great guy and gives a lot of inspiration (inspires)to the team/individual players. and i couldn't agree with you more. he is a great person, and a great player...............but.......... he won't give a 100%..............................he will always give 110%
