What about the physicals process...what if he doesn't pass? And have our Sacto Sixers passed theirs yet?

i'm guessing they will be done tomorrow and if he doesn't pass his physical then the trade is voided

question: is he with the team in new york? or is je still in sac/dallas?

He's probably in Philly or New York right now, because they always have to report to the team right away. That's the sad part, everything happens so fast. One day your at home, the next minute your on a flight out to your new town/city. I hope he's already here because we're in the middle of a snow storm and it's really coming down out there!

Good to hear. It's going to be weird to see him in another uniform, playing against us. I wonder how he'll play, how he's going to approach the game? Can't wait to see.

They may not have to take physicals. You can trade a player and waive a physical and this may have happened in this case. Either that or the physical is basically "cough and turn your head to the left" type.

I believe players have 48 hours to report and that was the hold up in the Mobley trade. Doug took his sweet time in getting to Orlando and it held everything up.

Chris is probably here in Sacramento right now, taking care of personal matters.

AI was just on SportsCenter, giddy as a school girl.

And good for AI. He is getting a hell of a player in C-Webb. I hope they do well together.

can I bribe the doctor? how nice would it be if Webb failed his physical?

not nice at all. i had considered this, but look at it from webb's perspective. how would you feel if you got traded for 3 mediocre role players, and yer a 5 time all star, and you fail the physical with your new team. then you've got to go back to sacramento, where you clearly are not wanted, and play for them the rest of the season. i called this trade a "slap in the face" to webber for a reason. its the kinda trade that leaves a player feeling disrespected. and i believe it was a trade that showed a lot of disrespect to chris. it also showed just how much value chris webber had for kings management. they didnt give a **** how well he's been playing, or how much he's given this team and community, they'd obviosuly trade him for anybody just so they didnt have to run any risks of injury.

kiings organizations disrespected C-webb big time...i hope he has a monster game against us and show petrie that he made a big mistake.

Grant said on the radio last night that all of the physicals for the players were going to take place in Philly...and yes, they have 48 hours to report.

It should certainly be an interesting first game. I just realized that these two teams haven't played before this season, so there's nothing to go on as to how the two teams matched up.

I do know this...prior to the trade, I'd be expecting a win by the Kings. If Peja plays, that might still be the expectation. If he doesn't, seems like a fairly even matchup with CWebb on the 76ers.

Not the same for me.

I hope Webb drops the biggest TD of his career tomorrow night.
So are you saying you want the Kings to lose??

I hope Webber have a good game too. I think he's going to do a few dunks and good plays. He said he wants to prove that he isn't "done yet" and I'm sure he wouldn't mind killing the Kings. He can get the biggest triple double in his career...But as long as the Kings win, which they really need some right now...that's all I care about. I'm a Kings fan, not a 6ers fan. GO KINGS!!

I'm actually looking forward to Songaila dropping about 20 on Chris and beating him to the boards and grabbing about 14 rebounds.

No offense to you and your loyalty as I have a Webb jersey hanging in my closet but as Matt Barnes said today, "they are the enemy".

Goodbye Chris and thanks for the memories but we have to move on with what we have.

I am a Kings fan. I will be long after Webber isn't playing anymore. I think I want the Kings to lose tomorrow. Sometimes you can be a fan of a team, and still not want them to win.

I see nothing wrong with that since that is your choice to see your favorite team lose.

But to me, I always want to see my favorite team win. :)

What??? I'm a huge Webb fan but I was a Kings fan before Webb came and will be a Kings fans after he leaves. How can you say you want your team to lose???

Yes.

This is really hard for me to move on from right now. I'll be back to my old kings-loving ways shortly, but for right now, I would like to see them lose. I'm sorry. But this whole thing is just not easy for me.

I am a bigger Kings fan than a Webber fan, but to me, there are more important things for my favorite team than a single regular season game.

One of the best parts of watching the Kings team the last 6 years has been rooting for them, as underdogs, to prove doubters wrong and silence the irrational critics. As I have rooted for them to do that, I have grown to like several of the players on the team a lot, and have hoped that each of them could overcome the persistent and often incorrect perceptions that followed them. In Webber's case, there were so many illogical criticisms of his play, attitudes and actions that I have developed a strong inclination to root for him to prove those criticisms wrong. (Note that there are many valid criticisms of Webber, many of which I have made myself, but that doesn't mean that all of them are legitimate.) In this case, I truly hope that he carries his team to a championship, or at least farther than anyone thinks they can go.

If Webber plays well and the Sixers win, I'll be happy for him as a person (even though I don't know him). I honestly don't think it would damage the psyche of any of the Kings players if they lost another game, either. So here is this guy that I root for to do well, who I want to see succeed, and he is playing in this extremely emotional game in which a loss or poor play or both will provide fodder for those whose illegitimate opinions haunt my enjoyment of the game and follow him around wherever he goes. Do I want to see those critics (I'm not referring to those I consider to be legitimate critics) get more ammunition? No. Am I willing to see my favorite team lose a single regular season game for that reason? In this case, yes.

Who knows, I could very well find myself rooting for the Kings anyway once I watch the game, but for now that's just how I feel.

I too am a huge KINGS fan and a huge WEBBER fan,and as hard as this trade is for me to accept, and as much as I will miss seeing WEBBER in a KINGS uniform, and yes I would love to see CHRIS have 2 TD tomorrow, but i never want the KINGS to lose..
