of course she is going to stand up for grant and herself. but by your reasoning if two people call someone a liar than its true? so if the reggie and cheryl miller called kj a liar, what does that mean? my main reasoning why i'm siding with cwebb is logic. if someone told you that i'm going to put u on the radio because u made a mistake on tv and i'm gonna have the host that you have a history with call you out on it. are u going to go on? what if she said hey some of the fans want to talk to you and show you some love because of last night? are you going to put matters aside with the host and go on to talk to the fans? if just doesn't make sense
I don't consider someone a liar just because 2 people said it. I look at their body of work. Jodi Bacon has been a well respected producer for KHTK, the Kings and I believe at least one bay area team for many years. You don't get to that position by lying to those you ask onto the shows you are promoting (it's a good way to lose your job and future guests). So I have no reason to believe that she is a liar (nor have ever heard her called such). As for Grant, he asked the question, but is NOT the one who set up the interview (that would be Bacon). And that brings us to CWebb. I loved Chris when he played for the Kings and am happy that he still represents the Kings in some ways on a national scale. However, he has a history of being very defensive with the media (not just Grant) when he is being asked questions he doesn't like. He has never liked admitting when he is wrong. He has also proven to be a liar in the past.
I also don't see what Grant and KHTK would gain from setting up Webber. Yeah, it would help the show ratings for a day or two, but that wouldn't be worth the cost. Webber is the only national TV that brings any attention to the Kings or Sacramento, so hurting his reputation and possibly making him not want to come on the radio again would be a BAD thing in the long run for the Kings & KHTK.
