Chris Webber Elected to the Basketball Hall of Fame

I saw that Ben Wallace got in and my reaction was and Webber ain't in?!?

Nvm then.

I don't pop around much, so the answer to this may in fact be "yes", but did I miss something?
You've missed a lot.

I dunno what Webb is doing next year but it looks like he just ended his deal with TNT so he may be off to something better?

Ah, that much I knew. What I did not know was if there had been some specific rumor about Webb to the Kings, or if it was just (hopeful?) speculation.

Just prob sarcasm since almost every king from the golden era has had a job with the kings recently.

edit: just realized who you quoted and yeah I’m pretty sure it’s sarcasm

I'm really worried we are going to retain Walton based on things that have been said, while hopeful it's just a smokescreen to get us through the season. But if he really does have Fox's vote ... uggh. More disappointed in Fox if that's true.

I honestly don't see how we could give it to Webb, tbh. I'd love to see one of the top assistants around the league get a crack. I'm terrified of D'Antoni or really anyone with Houston ties.

It looks like he proved me wrong, after all:
  • Never did come clean about the Ed Martin scandal.
  • Never did do right by the University of Michigan.
  • Never did make peace with the rest of the Fab Five.
Still got into the Hall of Fame.

I guess congratulations are in order? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

he gets contrats for actually getting @Mr. S£im Citrus to admit publicly that he was proven wrong. that rare achievement in itself is as big an accomplishment as getting into the HOF. ;)

It's kind of dumb that those things were potentially needed to get into the HOF.

I did not recognize that gentleman, at first glance. According to Ticha's IG, that's Jason Williams... Jason Williams got old, man.
