Thought I would put this out there, eventhough the chances of acquiring CP3 are pretty minimal. Looks like he's pissed, not happy at all about Scott being fired. We already know he's not happy about how the team is doing right now, and he doesn't seem confident that things will get any better. So, is this the time to try to make a move for CP3?

I know there is already talk going on about CP3, but I opened a new thread because this story is brand new and I don't think anyone new how fustrated he is.

He's as untouchable as anyone else is in the league. Plus he's stuck till 2012. Their entire franchise is pinned on him.

A possible trade for him will have to involve Tyreke evans and then some. So nope.

Obviously Tyreke is a no no. But a deal of Martin and Hawes combined might do it. They don't really have a true center, unless you count Armstrong. Money wise you could probably throw in Sergio and still make it work.

More then likely they'll want our 1st round pick + KMart as the focal point to the deal.... I'd just prefer to keep Hawes and give them K9 and call it all good.

We'll be banking on JT , Hawes, and Donte to continue their progression for the future...

if I was NO, I wouldn't trade for Kmart and a #1 and Hawes. CP3 is a superstar and only 24 years old and has 3 years left on his deal.

I think they would only deal CP3 if he was free agent in the offseason or if he's at the end of his prime.

tyreke would be our only shot at paul unless he publicly demands a trade and becomes a complete a-hole... crazy part is that the only team that could serious do that kind of trade without bleeding all of their talent would be minny, he who shall remain nameless and filler for paul is a damn good deal.... the hornets would get their new pg and they wouldnt have to send paul to a contender... not saying that we are contenders but minny sucks and its in the middle of no where....

i dont know why the hornets would want martin unless paul was still on the team or if we had the number 1 pick and they could get wall.

lol

You think Evans is untouchable...and yet you can't see how the hornets organization would think CP is untouchable? Oh, right, because Martin is involved...oh wait, when was the last time Martin carried a mediocre team to the playoffs?

CP is not going to be traded unless he asks, and even then it would take a lot more than Martin and Hawes.
