Booo! I dont like the prediction, this is a kings site, and if we are going to predicet, I think it should be kings in 7.:p I will bookmark the forums and skip the front page untill it is changed.
edit: VF21 dont go postal on me, its just a joke:p

You know, Slim worked hard on that and it's an excellent summary, IMHO. I don't see the joke in your comments.

Had I written it, I would be a little miffed that my efforts were being recognized by a couple of comments with some :p thrown in.

Just my three cents...
 
Good Analysis.

While I agree on all player vs. player and coach vs. coach I think Spurs will win in 5 or 6. The Kings haven't been together long enough to win an 8 vs. 1 matchup. Esp against a 60+ win team. But overall a good looking take on the teams!

This is just my honest opinion, but I don't think the prediction (Spurs in 7) needs to be posted; I think it detracts from the article. I know Slim's entitled to his opinion, but seeing a prediction for the other team to win on the #1 Kings fan site is kind of awkward, and made even more awkward by the fact that that prediction does not reflect the prediction of the majority of the members of KingsFans.com, many of whom feel that we will win. The matchup descriptions are terrific, we should just leave it at that.

I don't think it's at all awkward for Slim to say the Spurs are pretty much the favored team to win in 7 games. I think it's honest and realistic. It's Slim's opinion, and he isn't intending nor representing it as anything else.

Not having that final part would be like going out for a 7-course meal and then skipping dessert.

Man, if I had a 7-course meal, I wouldn't have any room for dessert. ;)
 
Maybe I should have said "paid for and expected a 7-course meal and then didn't get dessert"?

I'm going for the Kings, too, but that wasn't a statement of who I *want* to win, it was a statement of who I *think* is going to win.

Sorry if I'm not enough of a blind homer for you guys; I call 'em like I see 'em...
