Cavs sign Scot Pollard...

Cavs signed Scot Pollard to a one year 2.2 million dollar deal. He really wanted to come back to Sac. but the money just wasn't there.

Good for Scott. I've always liked him. Truth be told, I would have liked having him back with us. I wish him well.

I am glad that Scotty has signed on with a good team for a reasonable money. I am happy for him and I hope he enjoys it there. When healthy, he would be a very good bacn up for Big Z.

Speaking of the Cavs, who do you guys think is better --D-wade or Lebron. Personally i think Lebron is better, though he is more selfish than Wade.

I wonder how they couldn't get Evans to sign cause apparently if they get Pollard it means there didn't or couldn't get Evans.

If Cavs still got their MLE, they can get him, but Evans probably wouldn't be able to play much with Gooden/Varejao/Marshall already at PF.

I still think Evans ends up in Minny. Denver does have the money, but they also want to get a shooter, and have a ton of PFs already. Evans has the best oppurtunity to play in Minny, which is what he said he wants. Be interesting and surprising if he did go to to Denver, and where he'd situate into Nuggies PF rotation.

2.2 million geez Scot is a superscrub why in the hell would you pay him that.

He's not that bad of a player for what he is, he can still go in a limited role. He was hurt a bunch in Indiana because he had to play more than he was expected to because of Indiana's injuries/suspensions, along with getting older of course. LLE is cheap, and the 2nd lowest salary option.

When he is healthy, he is a good backup. Sure wish the Kings would have found a way to get him. He was one of my favorites. I'm happy for him to have found a home.

I agree, i wish we somehow got him but he could've easily been a King he just choose to go were he got the most money so i don't think he was that excited to return the Sacramento as the Reports indicated.

Well Scot is way past his prime and probaly has very little left to bring to the court, but he has experience and brings a good locker room presence... nice comic relife during stressfull times etc. Might be more money than his talent is worth but depending on the chemestry in the clubhouse he might be worth every penny. Bottom line is the fans in Ohio have lots to happy with. Best on court presence in the NBA and the best off court personality... "That's Entertainment."

Which is why i wanted him, but i'm not gonna cry over him i wish him the best.

Damn it. :( I was hoping we'd get him back. And I didn't think anyone would pay him above the LLE either (good for him though).

I would have loved to have Scot return here and sit in the 10 or 11 spot on the bench, but I think we got a little better deal with Woods for less than half the price. I'm happy that Scot got a decent payday from Cleveland.
