I think one of the best parts of the last video was actually seeing some of the inside of the complex itself and a fridge stocked like a Gatorade commercial. :D

Omri Casspi sighting!

We saw Omri Casspi getting into his car in a parking lot. We just asked if it was him and he said yeah so we said welcome to sacramento. He signed my t-shirt lol. :p

What kind of car is he pushing?

great question! OMG!!!!!!!!!!! j/k...

(just to make clear im saying j/k about the OMG... the question was actually good and i really want to know)

I think since arriving in town the 3 new draft picks have been chaperoned around in the usual big black SUV's that appear to be from Kings organization. I doubt Omri has a stateside license, surely not one from California - although maybe an international driving license. Tyreke is only 19 years old - but we know he was driving during a very unfortunate incident which luckily he was cleared of any culpability.

Its pretty cool that, despite being our 2nd pick and going at #23, Casspi seems to get as much or more attention and love from the Sac media and fans than even Tyreke Evans so far.

and thats cause his the first israeli at the nba which gonna give the scaramento alot of jersey sales. ;)

Nah, I think it has to do with the fact that he came from a big franchise overseas.

For those who don't know, get this: Maccabi Tel Aviv is the biggest and actually the only big basketball organization in Israel. Its really rare to see them losing a Championship.

and to prove you that, check it out: Maccabi won 47 Championships out of the last 54 Israeli Finals; Attended in 13 European championships and won 5 out of them while winning 3 of them in 4 consecutive years.

I don't think you can find anthoer place in the world with a similar case. And don't get me wrong. Good for Maccabi, sure, but not so good for the Israeli League.

Even though, we have a competetive league over here in the last couple of years. The problem is no one wants to invest in other teams, and that's sad because we had and have alot of bright basketball players.

Well, that's what I think...

but still, it doesnt have any contact to that omri casspi is way more intresting in everything than evans.

as i said, its just because his the first israeli ever at the NBA

It has, because he was developed in Maccabi and Sports Media usually know to cover player's background even when it has nothing to do with the player itself, and It makes more interest in the player itself.

anyhow, I think it does.

well, think again. if theres a reason why he get so much intrest its ebacuase is an israeli and not from maccabi.
Anthony Parker and Sharas came from maccabi to the NBa and werent getting such a interest in their rookie year.. and before it

I think you are mistaking. They both were much covered as Casspi if not more.

The reason you see things as you see them is because you're an Israeli and that's legitimate. I'm also very excited, but I think we should be very cautious because Casspi should prove he derserves to be on court, and this Israeli Festival may be over long before it started.

Nooooo!!!

Read what I wrote again.

I didn't say Casspi doesn't get more attention!!!

I was talking about the reason you think he gets more attention.

It may also be becasue Casspi is in Sacramento right now. Evans and Brockman both returned home to get ready for mini-camp and summer league, so no one's going to see them around Sacramento for awhile. A Brockman is a second rounder, who may or may not make the team.
