Can Anybody Help Explain the Situation?

So, as a Kings fan in L.A., I dont have the opportunity of watching my Kings on the local channels.

I couldnt afford NBA LP this year, so I am forced to pick up online grainy streams whenever they are available.

I have only seen a couple of games and the most recent whereas Jason barely got any minutes, which prompted me to go on a Theus tirade, which was purely an "in the heat of the moment"....err moment.

My question for those who have been watching the games everyday, or at least the majority of the games is...how bad is it?

I would appreciate if someone gave me some sort of analysis of how Reggie is utterly failing at his job (attitude, actions, gestures, etc.) aside from the teams record.

Thank you.

It's bad. It's horribly bad and it's going to get worse...

There aren't any easy answers.

read Brick grades from every game so far and You will know everything You need to know

Aside from the coaching problems there is no team chemistry. nobody knows where the other guy is supposed to be or where they are supposed to be. Of course that goes to having no system in which they have assignments which of course goes back to coaching.

Basically they look like a poorly coached team. A team that has no idea what it is doing on either end of the court.

And just think - I actually made a conscious effort not to sound too depressing.

it is bad

I mean this is my territory but come on. Even I want to see something good happen once in a while.

I really, really wanted to end up being wrong with all this but there wasn't even a chance for that. It wasn't really a bold prediction back then. Now it is an overkill. The next 2 games will be so brutal in so many ways. We are being kicked while laying helpless on the ground:(

It's bad, this is a team with talent but the chemistry isn't there and the effort is really inconsistent. The Kings aren't a bunch of scrubs like the Thunder or the Bobcats, they're not severely undermanned like the Knicks.
Right now this team is like the Clippers, the numbers just aren't adding up to wins on the court and I don't think there is an immediate answer to the team's problems. It's kind of depressing to see this team turn into Clippers North.

The games look like they are being played with Criso greased basketballs.

I imagine Beno thinks that basketball is too easy so he sneaks it in every other play.

and thanks to everybody who responded

It looks like I'm kinda lucky that I cant watch the games the right now based on what you guys are saying.

Sure, I'll give it my best shot --

Our veterans are mediocre, except for two who are recovering from injury - Kevin Martin and Francisco Garcia. Salmons is an above average player, except he just doesn't seem to fit on this team.

Our youngins Hawes and Thompson, and maybe Bobby Brown have more talent than the veterans Miller and Moore, and maybe Beno, but they are very young and need much seasoning.

Our coach was hired with no NBA head coaching experience, no assistant NBA coaching experience, and a couple of years of head coaching experience at a small college.

I think this year is the bottom. Barring injury, next year will be better, the year after better than that, etc. Hopefully, all the pain this year - and there will be much more pain to come - will yield a very good player in the draft. We need one.

Other than that, everything is going swimmingly!

A little bit of a roller coaster ride:

First it went from..

...not too bad when Theus first played the kids...

...to bad when he removed them from the rotation...

...to really bad when their competetive spark was finally snuffed out...

...by really, really bad coaching.

;)
