Personally, I really enjoyed seeing Webber talk last night and I have to say that after watching Philadelphia this season, you can see how their chemistry is growing. Sure, they might be a very inept defensive squad - but Iverson and Webber combine for over 50 points per game, and their offense is explosive and much more team oriented than it was last year. As for Webber, his knees look a great deal better than they did in the past and he seems to be looking to throw it down around the paint area.

As for what Bibby 10 said, I have to say that he or she hit the nail dead on with the hammer. People forget that Webber was the player of the month right before the trade - a clear sign that he could still play with the other Kings. I certainly was very bitter after the trade occurred, but after this season, I can't help but think it might have been one of the worst trades I have ever seen. It pretty much resulted in a tremendous downgrade in terms of talent, weakened chemistry, the loss of a leader, and absolutely no salary/cap relief.

As for Webber, his knees look a great deal better than they did in the past.

Yes it is. I was watching the PHI/MIA game earlier this week and Webb dunked on Zo. Yes on, not around. It was a straight towards the basket dunk with Zo in the way. It caught me by surprise (along with Zo and Webb).

Webber on his adjustment to playing with Philadelphia 76ers Allen Iverson: “It was an adjustment at first because (Iverson’s) so good. He does things I’ve never seen before. His height is to his advantage, he’s the quickest player I’ve ever been around. I told him I believe I can make him better. I’m never going to lead the league in scoring, so it’s not about me leading the team. I want him to make me the best power forward, and I want him to lead the league in scoring, I want him to average a double-double in points and assists. For me, its fun playing with him and getting him easier buckets that what he’s used to.”

Kenny Smith after seeing footage of Webber dunking on Barkley: “Did you get him back, Chuck?”

Webber: “He gave us 56 (points) in the playoffs.”

Charles Barkley on the footage: “I was lying at home watching TV one night and (saw that) Nike made that into a commercial. I was so mad, I said “Nike stabbed me in the back. They made that into a commercial.’ I should have called Phil Knight in the middle of the night.”
