Brunson has surgery to repair cartilage

Monarchs apparently got a two for one deal on surgeries....

The Sacramento Monarchs today announced forward Rebekkah Brunson underwent successful arthroscopic surgery to repair cartilage damage in her right knee. Monarchs Team Doctor, Kirk Lewis, performed the surgery. It is projected she will be out six months, and a complete recovery is expected.

Hopefully this gives the stress fracture time to heal too.....she's gonna be EXTRA spring loaded in 09....

Dang, 6 months? Guess she won't be playing overseas in the offseason. Hopefully this gives her body extra time to heal, get well soon Bekkah!!
