6th, Goodwill Ambassador of Kingsfans.com, has awakened from her apparent Finley-induced state of confusion, and is once again back at her normal post with her normal name. (Or will be as soon as Jeremy can make the change back for her.)
When the trade of Bobby Jackson was announced, 6th - for reasons that sounded a little strange to her long-time friends on the KF board - decided she could no longer have her own name. She would have to have another name. She chose 7th...or so we thought.
Recently, the true insidious plot behind the name change was made clear. After Michael Finley was gone from the Dallas Mavericks roster, "7th" came to her senses. She realized she had been under the spell of the nefarious Finley, who took advantage of her momentary sadness over the departure of her long-time favorite King to try and deal a mortal blow to the fan board that had successfully identified the evil Finley as the true force behind so many unfortunate happenings in member lives.
"I couldn't believe it," 6th said. "I actually believed it was my idea. Me? I am 6th! How could I have been convinced to be anything else? I'm just glad the spell was broken when Finley left Dallas!"
Finley, of course, has been unavailable for comment. Rumors that he tried to work his dastardly deeds on another KF member, Bricklayer, with suggestions that he change his name to "Fossilized Canine" could not be confirmed
