Bow down at the feet of the mighty....OSTERTAG!!!

Can we at least agree to use Tag when we need him.
Yes, I believe we can agree to that...

And for the record? I think the reason he hasn't been called for planting himself in the paint is that he so resembles a giant sequoia that they don't even see him. Much like the popular saying, they "can't see the forest for the tree."

...

I crack me up sometimes!

:D

Well O'tag can't really be give a lot of time, because he will foul out pretty soon anyways ;). Yeah but I agree that he should be given more time. Especially against the Lakers, he should have been given more time since nothing else was really working.

If he plays his top game he does foul out, and when you play from the bench it is a luxury that can be aforded. I would love to see Tag foul out every game, heck if I were Adelman Id fine him $1,000 for every unused foul whne he gets mor than 10 min court time (j/K)

Now were getting somewhere!!

As long as we are singing his praises...

Tag ranks:

4.21 blk/48 min (6th in the NBA)

5.40 OReb/48 min (10th in the NBA)

Find him some minutes Rick! Free The Tag!!! :p

Remember when Ostertag showed up in Sacramento? All the nay-sayers whining about the acquisition. Gregg will improve with time. He will still come off the bench, but he WILL matter. He may even inspire others to block some shots.

I am really beginning to love this season. I like seeing new guys do well. It's a little like the first years with Vlade, Webber, and Jason.

We see it now, but here will be the "official story" from the comentaters in the Post season: (Imagine Walton's voice here) The Best kept secreet this entire NBA season has been this Kings bench. From out of nowhere this ragtag bunch old vets and rookies, once disdained in the press, has since come forth to proove those who questions Sacramento's depth wrong. Who would have thought in October that the much abused Greg Ostertag would be the shot blocking rebounding machine that Sacramento so desperatly needed after yet another disapointing play off run? Who could have guessed that the 26th pick of the Draft, Kevein Martin would play with such poise and grace, and when Maurice Evans came to camp for the Kings who would have known he woud be the athletic defender and high energy spark plug they would so despertaly need when the bench leader Bobby Jackson would have to sit with an injury for the season. The second year forward, Songlia quietly giveing Webber the rest desperatly needed to keep his old legs fresh. Now Jackson looks to return to lead this awsome second unit into action giving Adleman solid back up.

Well Bill the answer to the rhetorical quesitons is... Kingsfans.com, we knew.

That was NICE!

That wasn't just nice, it was the longest string of correctly spelled (carefully typed) words that the Celt has ever committed to a KingsFan monitor. Astounding.

LOL to be honest I still don't like his play... He was awesome tonight tho and I give him props for that. He did what he was brought here to do

Well I did go back and clean up the origianl post... yeah very un-Celt.

I for one am above satisfied with O-tags play. I gave him a hard time at first, not believing he was even close to being the best choice, but I was wrong.
