Pierce and Allen will be too much for the Magic on Sunday. Them along with the Magic having lack of experience in that big of a game will factor into a Celtics victory.

I think Orlando can pull this off.

Orlando SHOULD be able to win this game. They blew big leads in multiple games this series. They SHOULD be able to buckle down and play a solid COMPLETE game to close out the series, regardless of home court.

I know a lot of people here don't like the Celtics (they're not very likeable) and a lot of people like the Magic (they are), but the Celtics are gonna win this game. They're more polished, more disciplined, they're at home, and Paul Pierce and Ray Allen live for these games.

Celtics go to the ECF. Book it.

(Disclaimer: Though I stand by my prediction, I could be wrong. The Magic do have the most dominant big man left in the playoffs, and the Celtics did just barely beat the inferior Bulls at the Garden, so it's possible that the Magic win. But I'm taking the Celtics.)

Agree...and I more than "don't like" the Celtics. ;)

Wow, that was really convincing .

Magic by double digits.

Nice start by Orlando. Hope they can keep it up...

:D

Who knew that Hedo's secret pre-game ritual consisted of eating a cheese pizza? :p

I'm not drinking Gevalia today but you're really closer than you could have imagined. My mom got me some special "Southern Comfort" coffee. It's reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally good!!!

I'm very impressed with the Magic. Talk about heart and hustle. And I am, of course, very glad to see Hedo doing so well.

:D

they need to have lazer focus now.. this is where the celtics come back. also they need to stop ray allen from screens

go magic! do it for the little kid who got pushed!

Despite the body language of the Celtics bench, they are not going to go easy into that good night. This is where the Magic really have to dig in and prove they have the right stuff...

In the immortal words of Dandy Don Meredith, "Turn out the lights, the party's over..."

No KG and no Powe, Celtics were playing with all heart. Magic is a terrible tam that relies on shooting from long range to win games, which won't get it done in the long run.

How are they a terrible team? I would say they are not ideally built but they are definitely not terrible and a top 4 team in the league. Boston has been missing KG/Powe but Orlando is missing an all-star themselves in Jameer.

Celtics still had Pierce, Allen, and Rondo who are all very talented players. It's quite a stretch to say that the Magic are a terrible team. Yes, the three is a large part in the game, but when Dwight Howard is able to provide a dominant low post presence, they are a very difficult team to beat.

Oh, poor little Celtics. They couldn't get it done with only two HOF locks on the court.

Calling the Magic a "terrible team" is just silly. You can criticize them and dislike them, but they got the job done.

I like Dwight Howard. He's a class act and I think he would look really good in a Kings uniform. ;)

Big ups to Hedo for his game 7 performance tonight (9-12 from the floor are old Peja-esque #s, albeit probably not in a game 7 that I can think of off the top of my head). Sure didn't hurt that Pietrus shot lights out as well. I'd have preferred to see the Rockets knock out the Lakers, but I'm almost as happy to see the Celtics and suit-wearing, trash talking KG head home for the summer. Go Nuggets.

When you depend on the 3 point shot to win games, you'll lose. This has always been the case. If this game was close, there's no go-to guy Magic have expect for Hedo taking shots 15+ feet away from the field.

Dwight will get his rebounds, but he needs to score a lot more than he does. This team doesn't go to him as much as they should. They shoot the 3, if it goes in, they have a very good chance at winning. If they miss, they don't.

KG is the heart of the team. Imagine the Kings didn't have Webber in any of the series during the golden years.. Oh wait, that happened. I'm sure you remember what happened. One can argue Bibby and Peja can play and shoot just as well as Allen and Pierce back in the day.

One can try; one would not be successful.
