Bibby or artest

I don't think you move either of them. You aren't going to get equal return for either of them. The caliber of player that Artest is does not often make 8 million. You're going to get a couple worthless people or one ok person for that. Unless you can bundle Kenny and Artest together.

Bibby had a bad season last year, wasn't having a great start and will be coming off an injury. His trade value is at an all time low. Also, are you ok with having Cisco and beno running the point in tandem for the rest of the year?

If Artest leaves with nothing in return I think that's ok. That starts to free up money off the books. I don't see a problem with that in this case since we can't equal value back. .

i think we keep bibby. trade artest. package one of our "bigs" (cough, kenny thomas) and get in a quality power forward. tho i would hate to make that move without seeing spencer hawes. for some reason i have a good feeling about him. there arent many available point guards that can stamp a game like bibby.

Better to get expirings than wait their contracts out and have them walk away without us getting a thing.

Let's work toward the future, they aren't part of it.

Keep Ron, let Bibby go. But really you could not say one way or the other without having full trade details.

Ron plays with a passion and intensity that rubs off onto younger players. Bibby has lost his spark and desire, and that rubs off as well.

Move Bibby and get in a pass first point guard that knows how to run a team and can guard. Keep Artest cause on game days he will show up on at least the defensive side of the ball and cause some real good mismatches on offense. where bibby cant guard a lick and hes either on or off on offense.

you already have kevin who i think can be our go to guy if need be. and i am startin to grow on salmons, and then you got artest. then the bigs can just clean stuff up around the rim.

i would like to see miller move to the 4 spot and have hawes at the 5 (when he gets healthy)

starting 5
1-pass 1st pg with defense/salmons
2-Kevin
3-artest/salmons
4-miller/artest
5-hawes/miller

Both equally. Bibby just needs to be moved to get his contract off the books, Artest needs to be moved to get some valuable pieces.

I love Kevin so do not get me wrong. I really do not see Kevin as the #1 scoring option on a team that contends for anything except maybe the 8th spot. On a good/great team he should be the third option. Of course, he is not fully developed yet so time will tell.

I am fine with him being the go to guy when next seasons draft pick is the only real concern.

Ron needs to be moved before he does another, yes another stupid thing to decrease his value. He is a great 2 way player but he is also disruptive to the team w/ his antics. I say move em both and git'r on with the rebuild already.

Honestly, who cares at this point? It's obvious they both need to go (it's been obvious since last season) and which one goes before the other doesn't really matter at all.

Trade both before they walk, and see if you can get some sort of pick or promising youth along with the expirings to make it worthwhile.

Got to move Artest. Bibby plays the position we need the most. We have 3 guys that can play Artest's position.

Artest has got to be a priority with him most likely opting out. A decision has to be made on what to do with him. Move him at the deadline if you can get any youth back, but avoid long contracts. The only reason I'd take back an undesirable contract would be if a 1st round pick, even if it's late, is coming to us. Otherwise I'd just let him walk. The past few years we've had an abundance of wing players capable of trotting out there and keeping us competitive. Maybe this might be the only way to get the organization to rebuild.

With Bibby, you can be a little more selective. Then fire sale him in the off-season if need be.
