Best Case Scenario is MKG, right?

Bad mock. Washington just got rid of McGee and Charlotte has Henderson.

I don't think McGee or Henderson will have any effect on the draft there simply not apart of the equation. CLE could draft Barnes easily and if someone gambles on Drummond early MKG could in fact fall.

Dream scenario would be MKG falling down to #5 and us picking him up.

But unfortunately the columnist has Terrence Jones going 12th to Milwaukee and going again at 19 to Orlando, when I think he meant PJ3 at 12.
Then he has Dion Waiters going 17 to Dallas, which is not going to happen since in all likelihood Waiters has a promise from a club much, much higher than 17.

Doesn't mean he can't be wrong with MKG falling (and is correct that MKG would be the perfect fit in Sacramento), but it's hard to take too much credence in a mock that has so many glaring errors.

The article might not be great, but the OP's promise is spot on. Are there any Euros that might surprisingly sneak in to help bump MKG down?

Nope.

Last year was the year of the foreign draft picks. This year there may be one player selected in the 1st round (Evan Fournier) but he will probably go somewhere between 25-35.

Definitely agree that MKG is best case. Also feel that we have a decent enough shot at him as while he appears to be a perfect fit for us his upside might be limited to that of an Iggy. Teams ahead of us might want more scoring potential which Beal, Robinson, and Barnes appear to have.

Looking like a real possibility he's there @5. Bobcat's will go for potential/impact, they need a face of the franchise player like Drummond/Robinson/even Barnes. I just don't see them valuing MKG at 2, although they should. I also think the Wizards want scoring and Beal is a nice fit next to Wall. I guess Cleveland could go with MKG, I would, but if they truly want Barnes, hello MKG. :)

Just got to say, love the way this guy plays ball. If the Kings luck into him @5, and sign a guy like Ersan, they've already upgraded two positions, or at least upgraded their top 7 players.

Hope MKG's lack of a jumper give the four teams in front of the Kings pause.

Still bemused by the silliness of draftexpress's player comparisons on this one. MKG is not in the same solar system as Igoudala and Gerald atheltically, and its been a big part of what they do. And also, best case Igoudala, worst case Gerald? I wasn't even sure that Iggy > Wallace. Surely not sure there is much fo a gap. Does that mean that draftx considers MKG a sure thing at that level?

MKG remains one of the two guys (Drummond) I think easily fit amongst the Top 6, but there is an issue with his shooting. Or I should say there is an issue wiht his and Tyreke's shooting. One or the other of them would have to improve considerably as a shooter. It would be hard to carry both in the same starting lineup.

Yeah, I thought that comparison was silly too. And now maybe I'm being silly, but his defense reminds me a bit of Pippen. Defense. Only.

I think you could have Tyreke, Jimmer/Thorton, MKG as long as you sign a guy like Ersan. That's a big IF. You definitely need two shooters in that lineup.

He and Tyreke can get a Two for One Special on a Good Shooting coach. hahah
