I'll admit I was very down on Beno coming into this season. I didn't want him anywhere near Arco. But wow, he's having his best season as a pro. Have to give credit where credit is due.

VF21 has my back for my Goodwill Ambassador duties when I am not available. And, I got her back with some of her minor dutes.

Beno is a valuable team player and is improving mucho over last year. All has to do with team chemistry and effort. Having he and K9 be the keys to the win is really great. An "A" for Beno tonight.

Less pressure? He was absolutely clutch in crucial situations tonight. Stopping runs, hitting key shots.

But I think I hear what you are saying. Better when he knows his role and fits into the team. I think all the players are, and that, friends, is on the coach.

I felt the same way. I now think Beno is a PERFECT backup pg. I do worry what will happen to Sergio once Martin and Garcia are back....

See the thing is we have a good coach now. We don't have to worry about players getting their feelings hurt so much. This guy is a teacher and he is not babying players. These men are professionals and Westphal has them playing as such. We have good players now, and we are entitled to. We CAN have good back up players. We are worthy of that. We no longer have a need for the scarcity, poverty mentality that dictates that the players will lose it or become problematic if we don't give in to their agent's demands. We are beyond that. Sergio is a great player to have on our team.
