Beno on the move?

Should we have picked a slight undeveloped over-hyped PG or a tiny PG that would be another liability on the defensive end?

I think it is unfair to look at his assists. He was the man on his team, he was expected to take most of the shots. If he would have focused only on distributing the ball he would have had several more assists. Let give him a chance, huh?

When I look at potential PG prospects a/to ratio is really high up on my importance list. I am not sure how much you have seen him play, but the thing that worries me the most besides his court vision is his turnovers when he is doubled. Man on man Evans is probably one of the top 2 in this draft, but he seems to freak out when the pressure is on him. At least at Memphis.

those last 4 words are VERY important. He didn't have Martin on the wing and jt and spencer out there with him. who in the HELL is going to double Evans on the perimeter and leave Martin wide open or JT open in the lane. Nobody.

Who? Double team when he's bringing the ball up the court that's who. A zone defense collapsing on him forcing a turnover because his court vision isn't up to PG standards is who. Care for me to go on? Have you even seen this guy play or are you talking out of your backside?

I don't appreiate my opinion being called a lie and yours being the all out truth. I agree Rubio is a great passer and has great court vision. Rubio is weak for the NBA game right now and is defense is suspect at best. He would be great for guys that have no offensive game like Chandler, Thabeet.

If Beno is still on the team at the start of the season, he will be the starter. Evans will back up Beno/Martin for now, and then they'll swing Sergio in at PG when Evans is at SG..kinda like what the Bulls do for Rose (play him at PG and then SG when Kirk at is at PG)

You do realize that Tyreke and Ricky both averaged about 3 TO per game, don't you?

Tyreke played 29 min per game, Ricky 23 (for most of the season). Now, Ricky also averaged about 50% more assists (6.1 to 3.9), but they also played different roles. So Tyreke had fewer TO/min, but fewer A/min as well.

Just sayin that with similar minutes, Tyreke turned the ball over less while playing PG. Ricky obviously had a better A/TO ratio.

Really? 4 posts to say something that I was making fun of you about? You were comparing Thabeet to Wallace and Chandler which was totally retarded so I made a retarded statement saying you are comparing Thabeet to two future HOF if I am not mistaken. Di I really have to put [/sarcasm] next to everything I post with you so that you understand?

Geez, now you make me want to go back and look at all your stupid posts lol. Because we all know you make the best analysis of any players out there in this forum

And yes, I am smarter than you are.

Yes I know they averaged the same amount of turnovers. Evans was the ball handler, and Rubio was the PG.

If Evans turns out to be a good PG if he is given that role then I will be the first to say I was wrong, but for now I am standing by my assessment that he is a SG and the Kings made a big mistake by drafting him. I have my opinion and you have yours..

And Entity has about 10 of them.

Ok go back and look at my hawes, jt, and Kevin Martin assesments and then look at yours. and not your not. I don't make better analysis than alot just you. because you sir are not smart at this and you can say it was sarcasm now but you and i both know you meant it. but anything to get the egg off your face will do.

and in the end we still don't have Rubio. Oh oh I know. do you need me to get you the address for t'voles forum. they might appreciate you tonight.

you won't say you were wrong. you never do. you play it off as sarcasm. if so then say you was wrong about Jason Thompson

Was I really wrong about Thompson?

"Excellent pick. Good player from a small school but he's totally a Petrie player.

My only issue with it is that we could have got him lower than #12."

Which when I saw (after the fact) that the Warriors wanted him I retracted that.

And I said I was wrong about Shelden Williams although I still am a huge fan of his college career.

Why did they keep harping on Rubio experience vs. the U.S team in China last summer. They guy had 6pts 3ast in 28 min. They never gave the stats just the blanket statement as if he had a great game.

against lithuania he had 4pts 4ast
against Croatia 3pts 1ast

eh geez why bother. he averaged 4pts 3ast and you think he is the best pg in the land?

what stellar pg's did he play against in his little league?

I was wrong about Hawes too but I had already said I was. I wanted Noah, and if not Noah I wanted Thorton. And I wanted Marcus Williams, or Rondo instead of Douby. I was higher on Williams though.

I don't know man, maybe because he was 17 and playing in the biggest games of his career?

You can call me on it if Evans outplays Rubio (at PG) if they play Evans at PG. Because if he does I am sure you will.

No its the fact that they acted like he was a beast or something. Just wondered why even mention it if he did such a poor job.

evans will end up being our 6th man combo guard next season. why are you 2 arguing about this still? if he is our starting pg next season we will be tanking all over again. he isnt that type of player. comparing him to westbrook isnt much of a comparrison since okc didnt win that many games either. evans will become a bigger version of ben gordon or barbosa... energy guy off the bench, like a better version of shannon brown big for a pg without the court vision and passing but small for a sg with a better player infront of him in martin.
