Bee: The bidding heats up

^^ I agree as well. Garcia is not gonna get many minutes. If Bonzi is back, Douby won't play until he learns how to play PG as well. And if we get another PG, then we might as well trade Garcia and Douby, they won't play unless its garbage time.

Well, that's up in the air... we'll know by training camp and pre-season about Douby. Unless we sign someone of course.

On the Pryzbilla matter, I think the odds of getting him in Sacramento is miniscule.

If Ben signs with Detroit, Chicago is going to offer him more than the MLE.

If Ben signs with Chicago, then it's probably going to be between Portland offering more than the MLE, and Sacramento and San Antonio offering the MLE. San Antonio can offer him the starting center spot. Sacramento could only offer him a backup to Brad Miller. I don't like our chances (barring a trade using Brad Miller).

Well, Portland doesn't have Joel's rights so that would help us in that matter.

I have a gut feeling that Pryzbilla is going to the Spurs if Chicago gets Ben Wallace. The Spurs can offer him a starting job and the full MLE. That's why I am kinda hoping that Ben Wallace goes back to the Pistons. Then the Bulls can outbid and get Pryzbilla.

I have a question..If we sign Bonzi to a deal can we also sign Pryzbilla or any other FA that is available. I guess I am asking if we sign Bozni will there be any money left to sign someone else.

Thanks in advance..

Sure, if the Maloofs wanna risk the tax ;) Which they probably don't...

I figure we probably get Speedy. And I figure we probably keep Bonzi, or failing that, S&T.

Chances are low that we get Joel, although I'd love to have him on our team. On the other hand, we seem to fall in love with Kings killers way too easily and they don't do so well for us. ;)

Re-sign Bonzi. That should be our top most priority. I don't mind signing him to a 5-6 year deal. He deserves it anyway and he's proven himself that he will be a new bonzi coming in to Sac. K-Mart would'nt mind backing him up. I agree with some of you guys that we really need to maintain the lead and tempo when our bench players come in. He can also sub Artest at times when the opposing team does'nt have that much height so I don't think playing time would be an issue. Also, we should seriously pursue Pryzb. He's a great compliment to Brad off the bench and if we get Speedy to back up Bibby, we should have enough firepower to make a run for the championship.

Our line up:

PG:bibby, speedy, hart, price could probably be sent to the nbdl

SG:bonzi,k-mart,douby,garcia

SF:artest,bonzi,garcia

PF:sar,kt

C:brad,pryzb

If we get a rookie or 2 in the summer league, we could get rid of corliss, sampson,kt,or hart.
That starting 5 is way too crowded and not to mention it has no interior defence.

Firstly, having 3 starters that do their best work in the low post is just crowding each other and not creating any space. SAR, Bonzi and Artest do their best work at the offensive end in the low post. One of them has to come off the bench IMHO.
