Yeah, I replied to one of them this morning then realized the futility of that endeavor. So I stopped. Some folks are just too stupid to be helped. I have more pressing things to do than spend a lot of time there now that the ball is in the hands of KJ.

Yeah, I guess I have to take a comedic look whenever I glance down at the peanut gallery in the comments section...it's useless and a waste of energy to go back and forth with those people, it's like the Bee is paying them to spew stupidity over and over again. Do they actually READ about what's going on?

If people seriously think it is worth the effort to try to alter the main message of these idiots, it would have to be a mass effort. Probably a persistent effort. How many people are posting notes there? I'll bet it's not many. I don't understand an anti-King attitude but I think it may be a small part of an anti-big city effort. People want Sacramento to remain a sleepy small town. It was the reason I moved here, believe it or not.

I read the article this morning with interest. I thought it was a neat move by the NBA.
That was the end of it until I read this site and wondered what in the hell you guys are talking about. Of course the answer is I read the article in the newspaper. I recommend it. There are no comments then. Just the news.
We need a new arena. One thing that convinced me years ago was a reply to my email to Ailene Voison. In an article she had made a reference to how run down the arena was and I challenged her and accused her of being a mouthpiece for the Maloofs. She wrote back in no uncertaing terms about the deficiencies of the arena and how poorly it compared to other NBA facilities. That's the Bee and Voison supporting the need for a new arena. Made a believer out of me.

I was born here in 1930 and it wasn't a sleepy small town then. I guess you may have been mistaken in your reason for moving here.
