Where's Mark Kreidler in all of this?

I respect Kreidler for his ability to cut right through all the bullbleep and put the facts out there for the readers to digest. It would sure be nice to see his take on things. But instead we get treated to Breton's negativity and Graswich's lunacy?

Hey, way to go, Sacramento Bee. I wonder what Mr. Acuna would have to say about that???

Mark Kreidler, to my knowledge, has left/leaving the Bee, unfortunately, and has gone to ESPN the Mag, exclusively...can someone confirm this for us?

I just sent him an email. Hopefully, he'll reply.

I just checked the sacbee website and he is still listed as a columnist.

The Sac Bee is so biased against any development funded by "public" money, we are lucky to even get a slightly accurate report of the arena proposal, much less any real support by its columnists.

The Bee has become so predictable and negative (or rather one sided biased) it is pretty remarkable that Breton and Aileen have any access to the Kings/Monarchs.

The are just so damn focused on the negative possibilities and almost no description/support of what the arena & following development will do for this city and us.

Remember, this is for US - the people who live and work in this town. This is not for the Maloofs. Do they benefit? Of course - but WE do in ways that this town is just beginning to comprehend.

Rumor has it that Kreidler is on his 10th draft of an editorial about the new arena. The other 9 evidently got axed because they put a positive spin on the arena...;)

Someone made an interesting point on the radio last night. Kevin Mclatchy(family of the owners of the Bee) is an owner of the Pittsburgh Pirates and they got a new stadium and the majority of the cost was paid for through public financing. Is their someone who can bring this up to the Bee so they can STFU!!!!!

Check ballparks.com(it's a great site) and it will give you all the info you need about the cost and who paid for it.
