Position: Point/shooting guard
NBA seasons: Rookie
College: Rutgers
Hometown: Brooklyn, N.Y.
Numbers of note: Scored 25.4 points with 4.3 rebounds and 3.1 assists in 33 starts last season; led Big East in scoring.

Q&A
Q: What are you trying to prove and show in training camp?
A: Everyone's trying to make an impression. I'm trying to show that I can play at this level.

Q: Do you pick the coaches' brains?
A: I ask a lot of questions, all the time, what they want.

Q: Last time you played combo guard?
A: When I was a sophomore in college. I really liked it.

Q: Were you turnover prone?
A: I had a 2-1 assist-to-turnover ratio. I remember that.

Q: Do you miss home?
A: To be honest, I don't. I miss my parents (Margarette and Andre Douby), but I'm happy here and I'm really focused.

Q: What sort of rookie duties do you have?
A: Whatever the veterans ask me to do. Get them a water, Gatorade, run errands.

Q: Like doing someone's laundry?
A: No, not yet.

Douby is the player i am most excited about seeing this year. If he does what i think hes going to do, he will very quickly become a fan favorite here in Sac.

im most excited about miller and bibby, it obvious that kenny ron and kein can play from muss, if brad and bibby can, then we;ve got a chance to get home court advantage in the playoffs. (if they tweaked the setup and gave it to the 4 best)..i

Ah cant wait to see him play man. I'm a big rutgers fan, season tickets and everything, so I have been following him since his freshmen year in college. And to go to the Kings is great since I really think he will fit in well there playing with kevin martin.

I'm really hopefully for the kid, too. We've done good with our late draft pics in KMart and Cisco. It looks like we want Quincy to be like Mike and bring up the ball and have a good shot as well and be able to score.

Well like others, I am excited to see Douby however I don't expect a lot being his first year, so... hopefully he surprises me and becomes rookie of the year. With that said I doubt that is likely but it will be fun to watch him.

Nice little interview, softball questions but an article/Q&A just to get to know the player.

HAHA Well we have other terms for that that are not clean for the message board.
