Position: Center. Height: 7-foot-2.
College: Arizona. NBA seasons: 5.
NBA stats: Has career average of 2.6 points, having played with Minnesota, Miami and Toronto.
How he got here: Signed as free agent by the Kings on Aug. 15.

Q&A
Q: You're the tallest guy at the Kings' training camp. When did you hit your growth spurt?
A: Between sixth and eighth grade, I grew from 5-foot-8 to 6-foot-8. I was really uncoordinated, and I ran out of clothes every year.

Q: Does everyone in your family have to duck in doorways?
A: No, not really. My dad is 6-foot-8, and my mom is 5-foot-7. I was just blessed, I guess.

Q: What's the highlight of your basketball career so far?
A: Honestly, making it to the NBA because it's always a dream. I was told in high school if I worked hard, I could get here. That's what I did.

Q: Are you superstitious?
A: Not really. I do things differently all the time. I'm sort of the opposite of superstitious.

Q: Do you ever think of your life without basketball?
A: Not really. Life goes on regardless. My life is basketball, but if I come out here tomorrow and break my leg, I'll look at another route. I have a degree (in counseling), so I have options.

Q: Such as?
A: I want to work as a high school athletic director or high school counselor. Or, I'm a good actor. I was in some plays in middle school. I could be the next Will Smith.

haha... i like him, dude is hilarious... that last one killed me...

Imagine that, a 7' 2" NBA center acting as if he were Will Smith (or at least thinking he could be the sequel to Will Smith)....

I thought Kevin Martin was the next Will Smith? Damn...

Woods seems like a cool guy, i peeped that interview he had on the Kings site when he first got signed, hes got a good sense of humor about his bad stats.
